Ilhan Omar Won’t Get Prosecuted for Immigration Fraud, Showing Who Really Has the Privilege
PJ Media ^ | August 8, 2020 | Robert Spencer

Here is yet more evidence of the two-tier justice system we have in the United States. A “veteran insider” at the Department of Homeland Security revealed Wednesday that two different federal agencies have investigated Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Ankara) for months, but decided not to prosecute her for immigration fraud, despite clear and readily available evidence that she married her own brother as part of an elaborate immigration scam.

A key clue as to why there will be no prosecution can be seen in the fact that Omar has accused those who have researched her unusual marital arrangements of “Islamophobia.” Ilhan Omar is a leftist, a black person, a woman, and a Muslim. These are the reasons why she will not be prosecuted. Anyone who dared to prosecute her would be excoriated in the establishment media as a racist “Islamophobe”; few have the courage to stand up against that onslaught.

And so Ilhan Omar can do whatever she wants, without fear of suffering any consequences. If you’re skeptical about that, ask yourself what the reaction would be if a conservative Republican Congressman, a white Christian man, was suspected of marrying his sister in order to commit immigration fraud. Do you think everyone would decline to prosecute in that case?

It's so weird how the government consistently decides not to prosecute itself. It's kinda like when the police investigate themselves they rarely if ever find any wrongdoing. That's so strange it happens that way.

Maybe we should allow drug cartels to investigate themselves and hold any wrong doers accountable.

Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi.

She lied to get into the country BEFORE she married her brother to get him a green card.

We just need a New Law:

No person shall be held to a different standard nor receive a greater punishment for any act, if they can articulate a reasonable suspicion a public person has committed, the same act, near identical act or similar act.

problem solved

“ We just need a New Law:”

More laws won’t help with this government we now have.

What we really need in order to enforce laws on the elite is a new government not made up of the elite.

Remember ABSCAM? You've never seen that happen again, have you?

I suspect all members of Congress went to the FBI and got their minds right about ever again coming after members of the nomenklatura.

That’s probably what it will take to get a new government.

A “veteran insider”

_______________

I’m not saying she’ll be prosecuted, but how about a credible source?

What it really exposes is the cowardice of govt people. Sure, they are pretty brave when storming homes in the dark of night with overwhelming numbers. They’ll stand up in front of cameras and crow about how “tough on crime” they are. But a thuggish criminal who runs an immigration scam will cow them with empty threats of “islamophobia”.

Our “Justice System” is a joke. And these cowardly investigators deserve nothing but contempt.

If a country wants a truly just government, wouldn’t it make sense that it would be easier to charge government officials than normal citizens? Shouldn’t they be held to a higher standard? Our government should appear as clean as possible. The standards to convict shouldn’t be different, only the likelihood of legal action when apparent crimes are committed. The last thing a just government needs is government officials cutting themselves a break that isn’t applied to normal citizens.

If she were to get defeated in her re-election bid there would be no reason to continue laying the smokescreen to defend her and, I believe, the Truth would finally come out. Not much chance she’ll lose in that district.
