Is Kamala Harris a natural born citizen?
It is no secret that Harris wants to be Joe Biden's vice president. The junior senator from California clearly sees an opening to her real objective: the presidency of the United States. With Biden surprisingly outlasting the other anti-American socialist candidates, Harris recognizes that Biden's age and declining cognitive abilities pose a glorious opportunity to resurrect her presidential ambitions. After all, there is an good chance that the bumbling, incoherent Biden might have to resign or be removed in his first term and his V.P. would succeed him. Even if Biden managed to miraculously finish his first term, it is unlikely that he would or could run for a second.
Harris would love to "back door" her way into the presidency, especially given the fact that her vacuous campaign was an unmitigated disaster, and any future presidential ambitions looked to be a virtual impossibility only a few months ago.
But not so fast. Harris is constitutionally ineligible to be VPOTUS (12th Amendment) or POTUS (Article 2). She is not — nor can she ever be — a natural born citizen, the highest standard of citizenship mandated by the Constitution for the president and commander-in-chief. The Founding Fathers wanted a higher standard of citizenship for the POTUS because they did not want any competing allegiances with foreign governments.
Harris was born in Oakland, California on October 20, 1964, to an Indian citizen mother and a Jamaican citizen father. Thus, Harris is a native-born American citizen, or a citizen pursuant to what I refer to as the anchor baby provision of the 14th Amendment.

Both her parents were aliens at her birth. In no way is she a Natural Born Citizen. She is an anchorbaby.
Anyone born with more than ONE nationality is not NATURALLY an American.

She is a citizen by the misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment, but a natural born citizen is only NATURALLY a citizen when born here of citizen parents.
The children of foreigners are themselves born foreigners, even if awarded US citizenship.

It was a well understood term until the 1960s when concerted efforts to undermine it began.

The Republicans did not have the Cahones to stand up to Obozo. Pelosi knew he was born in Kenya and yet signed off as Speaker for him to be on the ballot but the Republicans did nothing. We got what we deserved and that is the beginning of the downfall of a democratic gov’t here in the USA......Voters brought all this on by themselves by voting for Obozo...........
The Constitution is optional, per SCOTUS. No need for Kamala to worry about Constitutional sop.

SCOTUS decision in Minor v. Happersett (parents [plural] who are US citizens at time of birth.
This should be part of a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.
The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.
Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.
We need to pass these protections in order not to make out Democrats as liars who promised the protection in exchange for a ONE TIME AMNESTY. The Democrats got the amnesty already. Now its past time for the protections we were promised.
No Republican will declare her ineligible.
Good read, and while perhaps the original intent, I think there’s some SCOTUS rulings that may not help with the definition since it is not explicit in the constitution. Precedent has too much power.

It’s not that hard to come up with a cogent and reasonable definition of natural born citizen as it applies to qualification for the Office of the President. Lurkinanloomin’s not bad, but his opinion and this author’s opinion doesn’t count. Fodder for cocktail party chatter.
Those two versions are not the only ones out there. Lots of variables in this one. I have not heard a new and original idea since the birther threads in the Obama era. None of them were resolved. I think that I will go back to my watch over the Flynn case.
The founders were looking for the strictest definition that would preclude any foreign influence on the office of President.
The only way one can NATURALLY be a citizen is when one CANNOT be anything else, born here of citizen parents.
