Those that wish to keep us locked down.....well they are not paying for it, we are.
Never before, in the history of medicine, have we test non-symptomatic people for a virus. This is being done because the death rate is next to non existent, so they need something else to hang their shutdown on.
The answer? Test everyone, then use the positive results to continue the lockdown. This theory banks on the fact that most people are too naïve to know that positives with no symptoms are a good thing.
I will leave my tagline here: We are sacrificing America’s youth on the altar of our own fear. And it is a travesty.
With about 75,000,000 kids under 18, 100,000 is a tiny percentage. It is fear porn
The real question is, how many children DIED or experienced serious long-term physical damage of some sort? That is the important statistic here. So is this a relatively benign cold or is it more serious than smallpox or polio?
This makes no part of sense. Lets say its true. Then 100,000 kids who are not in school at all are getting the virus. So school can’t be any worse. But its not true. Whats going on is that schools are requiring kids to get tested before they can show up. So millions of kids are getting tested so they can get enrolled. They will be fine when they show up in school this fall as long as people open the schools.
“Infected” implies sickness. How many of them are actually sick? Nearly none, IIUC.

As the article said, 86 kids have supposedly died of COVID.
Frankly, I had read elsewhere that 266 people under the age of 25 had died of COVID, so I assumed the number in the 0-19 age group was closer to 200.
Anyway, 477 school-age kids died of the flu in the 2017-2018 flu season. So that’s more than 5 times as many as this article says have died of COVID so far.
I don’t remember a single teacher crying about how too many kids were dying, and that they would have to close the schools to save them.
And what AGES are most of these “children”? 16,17,18? I’d bet they are.
And while an estimated 1,200 children died in the 2012-2013 flu season[5] only 75 children have died due to COVID-19 (reported July 22)[6]and only 2 percent of domestic COVID-19 cases have occurred in children under 18, only 20 children under age five in the U.S. have died because of it, while the vast majority of children with severe COVID tend to have other risk factors.[7]

Considering the PC that they teach in school, part of me hopes they do not go back. But if they are going to have school, then in warm weather they could hold some classes outside, and others inside in well-ventilated rooms.
