Almost 100,000 American children tested positive for the coronavirus in the last two weeks of July — an alarming 40 percent rise, according to new data.
As officials continue to wrestle over the safest way to get kids back to school, a compilation of states’ data shows a clear increase in youngsters getting infected — with at least 86 dying since May.
The true figures are likely higher, with some states not breaking down cases by age, and the only New York data available coming from the city, and not the rest of the Empire State.

This article is a jumble of confused facts. 100K kids test positive in last 2 weeks - while 86 have died (with Covid involved) in the last 3.5 months.
Its tough to see this article as anything but propoganda.
The number of people under the age of 20 who have died from COVID is not exactly zero, but it’s damn close to zero.
Citing the number of kids who test positive for this is the weakest kind of fearporn. Pathetic attempt.

And coincidently there was a 300% increase in testing in the last few weeks as Dr. Birx pointed out we wanted to get more broad data prior to schools opening.
Anything to stop the School openings. Once they open the truth will come out.

The media is the enemy for many reasons - prime one being that they just are not very high on the intelligence chain.
But they think they are.
The stats could be close to accurate. They didn't mention we ramped up testing children a few weeks ago as we had not tested many. In other words, if you go from one ill child to 2, that's an alarming 100% increase.
Probably more bull scat from the source of most of the scat coming out of that cesspool.
