The number of people under the age of 20 who have died from COVID is not exactly zero, but it’s damn close to zero.
Citing the number of kids who test positive for this is the weakest kind of fearporn. Pathetic attempt.
As the article said, 86 kids have supposedly died of COVID.
Frankly, I had read elsewhere that 266 people under the age of 25 had died of COVID, so I assumed the number in the 0-19 age group was closer to 200.
Anyway, 477 school-age kids died of the flu in the 2017-2018 flu season. So that’s more than 5 times as many as this article says have died of COVID so far.
I don’t remember a single teacher crying about how too many kids were dying, and that they would have to close the schools to save them.
