It was a non violent situation UNTIL the punk turned it into a violent hostage situation- He crossed the line- At this point the police have a duty to protect the victim if possible, and to protect anyone else in the area, as well as themselves- from an unhinged person committing a violent criminal act
Had this been a black perp- the left would be going mental right now- but because it was a white perp- most of the comments I’m seeing on other forums were ‘good shooting’ and ‘kudos’ etc- like hte fella said above- there would be riots right now- and non stop screaming about ‘police brutality’ and ‘police racism’, and ‘systemic police racism’ and ‘defund the police’ etc

The AP story yesterday about trying to get taxpayers to finance rioters' protection gear has that picture caption. There is no proof of more than a tiny number of black people who are currently brutalized or killed---- by a small percentage of bad cops---despite many officers killed while on duty. These are reported as facts---not "alleged by BLM spokeswoman to be the result of police brutality."
