IDF fighter jets attacked a Hamas underground infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip late Thursday, the IDF Spokesperson confirmed.
The attack was in response to several explosive balloon attacks from Gaza to Israeli territory during the day.
Earlier on Thursday, after nearly six months without incendiary balloons, five fires broke out in the Gaza border communities. At least three of them were caused by incendiary balloons.
Furthermore, a balloon carrying an explosive device was found in the Arad industrial zone.
"The State of Israel will not accept any violation of sovereignty and harm to the residents of the south," said Defense Minister Benny Gantz. "In Gaza, it should be understood that there is no other solution - only returning our boys home and peace will lead to economic growth in the Gaza Strip. If the terrorist organizations have not yet understood: Whoever puts Israel to the test will be severely harmed."

Right, give them their own state.
They don’t want just Gaza and the West Bank. They want it all.
Arafat turned down the offer of immediate statehood for Gaza and the West Bank territories.
They want Israel off the map entirely.
They will not accept any statehood offer that does not include all of Israel..............
Exactly.
Arafat turned down a Camp David deal that granted him 95% of his demands.

They omitted the first part of the sentence:
After providing several hours notice and drones showed the structures to be abandoned, IDF fighter jets attacked a Hamas underground infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip
..................
Ditto that.
Hysterical, Hamas is old school. I had to look up the first use of balloons in warfare and guess who it was!
“On June 26, 1794, the army of the First Republic of France (the result of the French Revolution) made the first use of balloons in combat at the Battle of Fleurus against the forces of the First Coalition.”
Give who their own state?
Palestinkians have their own state, it’s called Jordan. They tried, and failed mind you, to overthrow the government of Jordan. They lost 80K lives and were expelled from Jordan. Compared to Israel, Jordan and Lebanon palestinkian refugee camps are each bigger than those in Israel. If you want them to have their own state, ship them back into Jordan and never allow them to return to Israel.
Exactly; there are no such people as Palestinians or country. They’ve never had a king, government or currency while in Israel. The governments went: Jews, Romans, Ottomans, Britain then Israel again.
Arafat immediately declared another Intifada against Israel. More innocent peaceful Jewish civilians were blown up on buses, in market places, weddings, etc. Yet this monster was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. No wonder so many of us laughed when Obambi was awarded the same prize just months in office.
My conclusion for such an "honor" was for his world apology tour, where he bowed to every leader/potentate he met, except the Queen of England. What a disgrace he was. I was never so embarrassed in my life.
IIRC, that was the original plan when Trans Jordan was created from the UN partition, but the palis were too uncivilized to co-exist with Jordan.
Yet Israel unilaterally gave them the Gaza Strip, because they thought it would appease the savages, which the Palis immediately destroyed the Jewish built infrastructure. Then it was about the so-called "refugee camps" in the West Bank. I remember seeing aerial footage of the "camps" and seeing actual Pali towns while the World cried them a river. Once those photos went public, wailing and pearl clutching went away. It always tickled me that Egypt kicked them out.
The reasons why Israel is no longer experiencing daily bombings is because of their immense wall and their incredible security. Long Live Israel!
All that on Clinton’s watch... Arafat had it made
And remember, he was nominated for the Nobel before he even took office.
Nice!
