I dont’ know if a SLAPP action can be brought against a state, but if it can, this case is ripe for that. Should remove it to federal court on First Amendment grounds if they can.

Probably not. But NY has an anti-SLAPP law on the books. I’m sure state officials are exempt

Let us pray that this is the usual “going too far” that Leftists can’t help themselves from engaging in. Cuomo is presiding over massive COVID death and the destruction wrought of the combination of his leftist worldview and massive ego.

I hope everything is OK with the NRA and I am not a huge fan of Wayne Lapier. It is true that the NRA is one of the last true as advocates of our freedoms and rights. Not just the 2nd amendment.

"Man I cant stand LaPierre but he needs to kick ass on this one."
For educational, legislative and judicial action, I want to support a man who is buried in required studies and planning, and he'd better be paid well. We don't see a lot of complaining here about the many cases of embezzlement in anti-family, un-American organizations like the United Way.
Men known for their posing, publicizing themselves, social circles and girlish popularity contests aren't up to the job of defending our rights, and I don't have any use for cults of personality.
As a result of study of organizations provoked by many of the anti-NRA comments from ignorance in anonymous forums, I won't be supporting any conspiracy-theory-mongering, mouthy, do-nothing, Libertarian organizations of any kind. They act as though they're in collusion with the Democrats.
The NRA is worth supporting. And if banks need to pay large salaries to top officers to retain the best, then the NRA can pay LaPierre accordingly. The NRA is more important than a bank.

Oh, NOW Wayne wakes up?
After he did eff-all for gun owners in this state?
Must be threatening his suit budget.

I hope everything is OK with the NRA Everything isn't ok with the NRA. LaPierre is treating himself like an Emperor with NRA funds. Check it out.
Lot's of members are refusing to renew their membership as well as stopping their contributions.
Plus, LaPierre has structured the organizational flowchart in such a way as to prevent him from being removed as King. What a mess.

Sorry to say, if youre LaPierre this is the ideal scenario. He can demonize someone else (rightly so) in order to divert attention from his own misdeeds. The AG did him a huge favor.
