The coronavirus pandemic continues to impose a severe economic toll on New York City’s eateries and pubs — with 83 percent of establishments saying they’re unable to make their full July rent and 37 percent unable to pay at all, a survey released Monday reveals.

It’s stunning that people are watching their life’s work be destroyed by hack politicians and a comatose public.
Hopefully they hurry up before the overdue mega earthquake puts the city underwater.
But all their employee’s are getting a ton of free cash, it is the Small Business owners who are the Real Targets, unfortunately all those getting their free check will be casualties very soon too.

What good is a restaurant if you can’t eat in it, chat and have a drink? The politicians are destroying NYC and the idiots who voted for them are getting what they deserve. Anyone who can move, should move.

Au contraire, you can’t open anything and the penalties are harsh if you try.
You would also have never have expected one political party, AND the media, to essentially conspire with China to undermine the economy of the US, but here we are.

Many, if not most restaurants in Manhattan have had thin margins to begin with.
I think this would be an ideal time to eliminate the police in NYC.
Liberal Hellhole to the max. No bailouts or any more Unemployment help, either.
I’d say by the time Trump wins in November most NYC restaurants will be bankrupt and closed.
