Leftie James Murdoch Resigns from News Corporation, the Parent Company of FOX News Over “Differences in Editorial Content”

James Murdoch tendered his resignation from the Board of Directors of News Corporation, the parent company of FOX News.

Rubert Murdoch stepped down as the CEO of FOX in June 2011 and handed the reins over to his son James.

James Murdoch’s wife Kathryn Murdoch is an outspoken leftist who works for the Clinton Climate Initiative.

The resignation went into effect today.

He disagrees with having a conservative [i.e. sometimes left and sometimes right] bias in editorial decisions and wants to go hard left so they can compete for market share with CNN MSNBC etc.

Imagine being in the position where you have the only franchise to sell gasoline in town and you oppose gasoline sales because of global warming. You just want to sell fruit and vegetable smoothies and recharge electric cars. It must stick in his craw pretty bad.

The WSJ was generally not so anti-conservative on its general and business news pages, until that is the Murdochs bought Dow Jones (parent of WSJ). I wish the previous owners could buy WSJ back.
