All that were upset or WTF because the couple who ‘covered’ their yard, and were subsequently arrested/charged because they were letting a MOB-peaceful or not—
(Sort of lose your ‘peaceful’ status when you break down the gate, door etc)-
know it better not be their house they were looking for were more than justified..
Also the Cops who thought the guy looked suspicious, it doesn’t take a ‘SEER’ to figure out why they didn’t ‘trust their instincts’ and check the car out, and yes, had it been just some ‘innocent fool’ lots would have had their panties entangled because the Cops ‘dared’ ask a couple of questions...
I guarantee that if the homeowners were armed with a handgun, this tragedy would have been completely avoided, likely without anyone getting hurt. Generally all one has to do is pull a gun, and the perp will immediately flee. If not, well that’s what good ammunition is for.

Every time I visit Florida, it cracks me up - the manicured lawns, the little houses, behind fences guarded by Haitians.

Decades ago my Father got pulled over in Los Angeles late at night.
He had Horse Twitch on the back seat of his Car. Basically a Wooden Stick with a looped Chain on one end. Yes, we owned a Horse.
The Cops took him in thinking it was Illegal Martial Arts Weapon. Once they figured it out at the Station they released him and drove him back to where his Car was parked.
They didn’t give the Horse Twitch back to him though.
