District attorneys and current candidates whose campaigns benefited from the work of left-wing organizations – including ones backed by liberal billionaire George Soros – are now pushing for new practices that could see sharp reductions in prosecutions and incarcerations.
St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who was boosted by Soros in her campaign, drew controversy when she announced her office was bringing felony charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the couple who brandished guns outside their home as protesters marched by in June.
Another high-profile prosecutor who has been backed by Soros in the past is Cook County, Ill. State's Attorney Kim Foxx. Foxx drew national attention when she dismissed the case against actor Jussie Smollett.
A report from the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund found a 39 percent increase in dropped or lost cases after Foxx took office in 2016.
San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, another beneficiary of Soros-tied contributions, recently defended the movement to defund police.
Boudin is also one of a number of district attorneys participating in "Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commissions," teaming with the Grassroots Law Project, an organization co-founded by activist Shaun King that calls for defunding police.
The other district attorneys who are participating in these commissions are Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner and Suffolk County, Mass., DA Rachael Rollins, who have both benefited from Soros’ support.
Becton also announced earlier this month that she was filing hate crime charges against Nichole Anderson and David Nelson, White people who were allegedly caught painting over a Black Lives Matter mural.
Orlando State Attorney candidate Monique Worrell is also backed by a group linked to Soros. Worrell’s platform calls for an end to cash bail, which would result in more defendants being released before their trial. She also says that incarceration should be a “last resort,”

Not just DAs but States Attorneys General and Sec of State positions. Why Sec of State positions you ask? Because they certify elections!
I've been wondering about that too. That and maybe building a social networking site or search engine. Seems there's not too many conservative billionaires and the few that exist are stingy

I remember reading about the DAs, in Northern Virginia, that Soros helped get elected. One of them was financed by one PAC. That PAC received all of its money from Soros.
What struck me as I read the article were the comments from the incumbent DAs, all Dem’s IIRC, that lost to these radicals. Consistently they stated that the ones replacing them are really, really, really radical Leftists. And these were folks that tended to be a bit softer on crime.
So, at the end of the day, the ideology of these radical DAs really only hurts one group of folks, before anyone else, the people that live in those counties and the ones that voted for them. If there’s a soft-on-crime radical in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, etc, the people of those counties are going to feel that pain long before anyone else does.
And northern Virginia has a huge MS-13 problem. What happens when those savages know nothing will happen to them?

There were times when Ellen was slated to be off the air, Morning Joe was dropping badly, MSNBC overall had almost too low viewership to qualify for national ratings and so on. Now, of course, Satan has the American followers pumped up to watch them all to root for destroying Trump so they’re on top again.
