This storm system is currently moving at a brisk pace. Watch for land interaction with the mountains of Hispanola and wind shear. Plan accordingly.

I was looking at the NHC’s website last night and they said there was a 90% of it developing into a full hurricane - although they didn’t say what the intensity would be.
This will be an interesting one to watch.

Well, it might turn into a good test of my folks’ assisted living place in Ft. Myers. It did ok in the last one to hit there.

Prepper ping.
Hurricane season is underway. I dont know how that might affect supply lines, but Im still planning for whatever Oct surprise the dems have up their sleeve. That really only leaves us two months to prep.
Its going to go more quickly that we realize.

Big track shift eastward since the 1700 graphics.
Instead of riding up the center of the FL penisula now looks like an indirect hit but placing all of Atlantic FL on the tornado-laden NW quadrant of circulation.

The hyperventilating by so many over a nonevent is Laughable. And, PATHETIC.
Even here on FreeRepublic we have the FluBros/FluBras joining with the StormBroS/StormBras with their typical overreaction.
This weather event may result in some rain. Maybe. Perhaps some wind gusts. In other words, typical Florida summer weather.

Hi NN thanks as usual for doing this.Yesterday ISAIS or whatever the weird name is was heading directly at us yesterday. At that time I told friends and even on the air yesterday on my show
that it was unlikely to maintain a straight line for days on end to hit us directly.Just doesn't happen.Seems it moved a bit north, which puts on the easy side of the storm. Its actually a big tropical storm and is forecast to regenerate after the mountains of Hispanola get through with it.
If it keeps moving as fast as it is its not likely to do all that much damage unless the winds grow.We shall see.Forward speed is on our side.
Of course down here we wont know for sure anyway since NOAA doesn't bother to fix the buoys that have been down info wise for months and months.Lets hope Trump can privatize all that after the elections.

As you can see from buoy location all the buoys are in the everglades national park.
There are about a half dozen buoys between Miami and the Dry Tortugas an extremely high use area. Thousands of boaters use this area and the buoys are down more than they are up.Right now we have a storm headed our way and there is no ocean data from Miami to Marathon an extremely important area. If all this was privatized we could have several dozen buoys in the region which is what is needed. If you look closer yo will see all kinds of info in florida Bay.That's just great except for the fact that you cant even get to half of them since the water is too shallow. Its a mess that needs to be straightened out
