TEXAS Representative Louie Gohmert has tested positive for coronavirus just before he was set to accompany Donald Trump on Air Force 1.
The 66-year-old tested positive in a pre-screen at the White House on Wednesday.
The eighth-term Republican attended the House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday where Attorney General Bill Barr was quizzed by reps.
He was sat at the podium asking questions without wearing a face mask.
Gohmert previously told CNN that he was not wearing a covering as he was regularly being tested for the virus.
"[I]f I get it, you'll never see me without a mask," he said.

He tested negeative before the hearing.
he was tested before being allowed to get on air force one, and THAT test was positive.
Since that is the 15-minute test, I wonder if it was accurate. I assume they will do a more comprehensive test sent to a lab, to be sure.
I don’t think he GOT it at the hearing, because that would be too quick.
Personally If I was a Republican and especially a Trump Supporting Republican I would be careful the other side isn’t sending in a Typhoid Mary to infect them... Dangerous game to play as it may backfire and infect the dems but there are always upsides to every downside.....
That sort of cancer can’t get a virus....

Far less than that...Kentucky's Governor Andy Beshear said in his news conference that the fatality rate from Covid 19 is 3%. That backs up his new restrictions and advice to cancel all vacations and going back to no more than 10 in a group.

Some of that was pneumonia, right? I was on an inhaler for the pneumonia following the Flu four years ago. Abuterol, the drug given to people with asthma. Better now. The flu was a few days, the pneumonia was over a week with chunks of mucus being coughed out.

Yep, just what I’m thinking or there is a vaccine out there that they got from the Chinese because they were involved in spreading it just to mess with Trumps reelection. I mean it seems a little too convenient don’t you think? It happens during an election year immediately after the impeachment failure, it immediately stopped Trumps rallies, and it harmed his top two campaign platforms: The economy and low unemployment. I would not doubt it at all. When we got a governor throwing infected people into nursing homes for no logical reason, and Dems fighting against hydroxychloroquine I tend to believe they are involved
