Many of Mr. Trump’s policies deserve criticism, but this isn’t one of them. Democrats are presenting a pro-chaos caricature of themselves, which will discredit them with the public if they maintain it. Especially at the local level, elected officials must recognize that a majority of Americans want to live normal lives without threat of violence or harm.

There is no such thing as a genuine liberal in the Dem Party. They have been one flavor or another of Marxists for at least 100 years. I believe they think their time has finally come for their open push to overthrow the United States and its Constitution, the only bulwark against their horrendous ideology that has ever existed.
Because in creating chaos they can ride to the rescue and appear to be the saviors.
I keep thinking that today’s protestors are the great grandchildren of the misguided Democratic hippies of the 50s and 60s, protestors indoctrinated by their own dysfunctional families.

I never use the word “liberal” when “leftist” or “Marxist” would be a more accurate description.
Actually, a lot of what we call “conservatism” today is actually “classical liberalism” — free markets, free speech, rule of law, property rights, and the natural, God-given rights of individuals above all.
The Founding Fathers were classical liberals — and I believe one of the innumerable crimes of the contemporary left has been to besmirch an honorable political tradition.
