I have noticed a trend around here....
People are sick of masks.
Last week everyone was wearing them.
This week only about 1/4 are.
A nearby town PD had a strict rule about it. Now, not so much.
“The twerp is a big phony.”
But a hell of a ball player./sarc
Everything he pitches is off base.
That CNN story may be true in the Democrat riot states around the fringes of the country but not in the middle of the country. People are wearing masks in Walmart stores, many thousands to one. The rare customer who refuses is made to leave.
That only needed to happen once in one store with heavy customer traffic. The first day of the new mask policy (last Monday, IIRC), several local police were standing in front of the store with another one parked across the street. There are always several asset protection people in front to assist customers in wearing their masks. The store manager only needed to remind one customer to put her mask back on during the past week.
In Walmart, that policy against direction intervention only applies to department managers, who are to call the store manager in the event of any problem. And remember the new cameras and security systems. They’re not like the old ones.
We will find out down the road that the masks we were told need to be worn has done irrepairable damage to your lungs and vital organs by not supplying adequate oxygen and breathing in your own carbon dioxide. Walmart home depot lowes never closed their doors, no spike in virus activity yet small businesses come under the Nazi control of local Nazi rat leaders and their demands.
Show me a single study that proves wearing a surgical mask lowers your risk of respiratory infection, let alone a piece of cloth doing so.
No one can because they do not exist...
This is simply theater and politics.
If you want to wear a mask, by all means do so, but these mandates are beyond stupid and are simply theater

BINGO! In addition to being absolutely useless, it restricts the air you breathe and forces you to inhale the CO2 you exhale.
On Sat, my LAFitness club had a sign on door mandating you MUST wear a mask when entering...but mask is NOT required if you are exercising. I walked in, sans mask, and began my workout.

No viable way to physically enforce the rule...and if they called the cops every time someone didn’t have a mask on 9at least down on MS Gulf Coast) there would be a 45 minute waiting time to get through and not enough cops to dispatch...

Total side note, I really didn’t care for that movie.
I was confronted in the parking lot by an employee shouting about masks. These little Nazi’s were getting carried away.
Only one person has said anything here, East Texas. I went to a store, wally world I think, someone said something about mask. I ignored it, didn’t even glance in that direction and walked in. Nobody else said anything but I did get a few dirty looks from those I assume are liberals...the one with purple hair I’m pretty sure about...
I’ve also checked a few mask packages...

All in all, I found ONE that said it offered MINIMAL but not complete, protection against viruses.
And that bandana some people use...oh come on...
Not to mention the seriously improper fit. Big bulge between the ear loops, gap on both sides of the nose, when I tried to wear one it kept fogging my glasses no matter how good I got it to fit. If it does that, it lets air in too. Totally useless...
This article is dis-information at best, or an outright lie at worst. I know of at least 2 local W-Marts and 1 Sam’s that are threatening to trespass people who are not wearing masks.
Yeah, but the counter argument for diseases like legionaire’s disease or pneumonia is that those are curable diseases that don’t kill like Corona does
How about the germs you expelled? Can you breathe those back in too?
There’s also just asking for pickup or home delivery.
We ALL know CO2 is more dangerous than any germs - it is pure satanic evil and leads to global warming and rising seas.
