Walmart and other major retailers made headlines last week with a new requirement for customers to wear masks in its US stores. But the new rules only go so far.
Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walgreens, CVS and others say they still won’t prohibit customers who refuse to wear a mask from shopping in stores. The issue, they say, is they want to avoid confrontations between angry customers and employees.

“With every requirement there are exceptions that have been established to avoid escalating the situation and putting our associates in harm’s way,” a Walmart representative said. “Our goal is to keep associates from a physical confrontation in the stores.”

Walmart is just being pragmatic...
The company does not want an employee to get into a fight with a customer because of a mask...
Big companies, like Walmart, want ALL 50 states to make people wear masks...According to the article...
More private security guards have been hired because of the mask requirement inside the stores...
Nobody should be wearing a mask because of health issues it will cause you
My gut feeling is this isn’t going to last very long, because people are either going to go some where else to shop. This in the long run will end up like the liberals trying to boycott the GOYA Foods or Chick-Fil-A restarants it will backfire on them.

I HATE shopping at Walmart (they are essentially an enemy of free people) and refuse to do so for myself. But my infirm mom requires certain items from Walmart at a bargain, and I shop there for her. I refuse to wear a mask, so I’ll see what happens the next time.

My issue with wearing a mask is that it makes me feel anxious. I know my pulse ox is still around 97-99%, I however would like to see some ABGs of a person wearing a mask for 30-60 minutes.

An annoying mask results in some stress.
Stress is harmful causing hypertension, CVAs, confusion, etc.
Not wearing a mask is beneficial to the population vulnerable to annoyance.
I have the 02 app on my phone. I’ll try to remember to test it after I wear my mask (N100 half-mask) for 3 to 4 hours next week. That might be interesting, although it doesn’t bother me now.
Haven’t had a problem in mine. The first time I ventured in without a mask, the guy counting heads wasn’t wearing one, either. He was when I left, though. I just walk in like I own the place. Nobody’s said peep.
Instead of a mask, I wear a MAGA hat. Unfortunately, it gives stress to the Proggies.
Oh well.
I can tell you I had doctors appointments a week ago and was forced to wear a ma’s for a total of 4 hours, 1 hr then 3 hrs. Next day I felt like i do when I’m coming down with bronchitis. Stuffy head, burning chest. I said no more after that experience
Masks are not the laws.
Ever hear of Hippa laws? If someone tells you they cannot wear a mask for health reasons, it ends right there.
The masks do not protect jack $hit from Covid 19. The only masks that work are N95s and they only protect what is coming into the mask and nothing outbound.
It’s a big lie. Playing along with the lie is the worse thing you can do.
I do the same. If you exude confidence and act like you’re an inspector or something, not behaving as if you’re at the leave of someone else, the mask Nazis leave you alone. I’ve only had a couple of instances where the proprietors refuse to let me in. I don’t WANT to patronize their businesses after that.
The twerp is a big phony.
