The Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force, a program they made an effort to characterize as no longer active, is not only very much still a government program, it’s a government expense, as outlined by the New York Times earlier this week. But there’s more than just a line item here, explains Popular Mechanics.
The acronym/word UFO is trending on Google. In fact, it was the biggest search of the day on Friday.
It continues to trend on social media and search into Saturday, and that’s thanks to an explosive quote from astrophysicist and former Pentagon consultant Eric W. Davis.

The astrophysicist Eric Davis, who consulted with the Pentagon’s original UFO program, told the Times that after he examined certain materials, he came to the conclusion that “we couldn’t make [them] ourselves.” In fact, Davis briefed a Department of Defense (DOD) agency as recently as March about retrieving materials from “off-world vehicles not made on this earth.”The magazine has been reporting on the program for some time, and the NYT account is a confirmation of that reporting.

I can understand why. The night I saw the UFO, I was in a remote campground and actually had my video camera in my hand as I had filmed a spectacular Sunset just 15 minutes earlier. This was back in 2011, so I didn't have a Smartphone then. As the object appeared, I was so startled by it, that it wasn't until the last moment that I thought of the camera. By the time I had it powered on and up to level to record, the object was gone.
A-12 flew faster and higher and was iterated in design details to become the SR-71. Some documentation of the J-79 engine indicates an operational envelope to 4.2M.
...... We all watched in amazement as the silent lights slowly crawled across the sky ... As it moved above us in unison I noticed that the area underneath the triangle was blocking out the bright mountain sky starfield ..... To me this signified a single object with lights lining the perimeter.
........... The next day on the way home from the mountains we learned that the mountain community was abuzz with reports of the event ..... Of course USAF reported that they were flying the newly revealed stealth bomber in the area at the time ..... To me that was a viable explanation .... However ... I am left wondering how the bomber could fly at a maximum speed of 5-20 MPH (Depending on the height) .... and still stay in the sky ..... Without any sound ......

My wife is from around Ishpeming Michigan. At a gathering up there, we got to talk to a cousin of Kelly Johnson.

I have often posted about a fellow who had a get-away place in my neighborhood. He was an aircraft engineer for the Apache plant down in the valley. He passed away years ago and the family sold the place.
He told me of the Phoenix lights. He and his family watched that thing fly right over them. He told me that he guessed it to be about 2 to 300 feet wide. No noise at all. He said the thing that he was thinking was-what the hell do they have driving that thing? The lights? Those were the propulsion systems, to his thinking. He never doubted that it was from the research and development area 51.
...... Now that you mention it .... The area that we were at was a little over 200 miles from Groom Lake, NV ..... Hmmmmm ....
Back when movable type first came out, people in a French City nearly burned a printer at the stake. It seems that every "E" (for instance) looked EXACTLY like any other "E" and there could only be one answer: The guy was in league with the Devil.
The Phoenix lights thing flew over Prescott AZ I guess. They had people who saw that thing from there all the way back to the NV border.
So some people got heir maps out and drew lines. It came from north of Las Vegas and made a course correction around Prescott and headed to the valley of the sun.
BTW, the governor of the state of AZ saw it. At first he joked about it-even had a news conference where they spoofed an alien, etc. Later he admitted he saw it and since he was a former Pilot, he admitted he had never seen anything like it.
There were virtually THOUSANDS of people who saw it. Why they flew that thing over Phoenix is anyone’s guess.
If they came here it would be for resources. Water, O2, minerals, the iron core of the planet, etc.
The indigenous population of the planet would just be consumes with everything else.
Isn’t that how it works with every “first contact” not on TV.

Who knows how advanced they are. So advanced it would look like magic to our engineers and workers.
I'm thinking more along the line of antiques such as rotary telephones, transistor radios and old coke bottles....
