After ravaging countries in Africa, the Middle East, and India, swarms of locust have now made their way to Europe as the Italian region of Sardinia recently saw its worst attack in 70 years. Around 30 000 ha (74 000 acres) of crops have been affected in Nuoro City alone, according to the Italian Journalist Agency (AGI).
"When the locusts arrived in mid-May, my cabbages were small, it wasn't harvesting time yet, they were all still in the field. Then the swarm came through, started to devour all the leaves, leaving only the stem," a Sardinian farmer named Giovanni said.
"Instead of abandoning the crop to them, I preferred to pick it in advance and donate it to a charity for people in need." Giovanni's farm, along with 200 others, has been affected by the plague, which has destroyed fields, grasslands, pastures, and invaded gardens.
"The locusts feed on the most protein-rich part of the plants, so once the swarm enters the hayfield, there is nothing left for the flock," said Alessandro, a local shepherd. "I can see it from the seagulls roaming my land: they come here to look for locusts and find plenty of them."
In Nuoro City, eastern-central Sardinia, locusts have been ravaging the Tirso Valley and has so far affected 30 000 ha (74 000 acres).
The most affected companies are in the municipalities of Ottana, Orotelli, Oniferi, Orani, Illorai, Bolotana, Silanus, and Sedillo, AGI reported. The insects have also arrived in a part of the Escalaplano countryside.
The region is now facing its worst locust invasion in 70 years, according to World Bank. Ottana mayor Franco Saba said preventive actions have been taken to prevent the attack from happening again in the next few years. He added that current damages will be compensated.
In an update by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on July 21, it warned that the risk of swarm migration from the Horn of Africa prevails.
Control operations continue in Ethiopia and Somalia, but swarms are expected to continue to migrate across the Indian Ocean, reaching summer breeding areas along both sides of the Indo-Pakistan border.
Breeding continues in Yemen, while mature solitarious adults are still present in Sudan. Control operations are in progress in Oman, Pakistan, and India.
Experts are calling for international joint effort, fearing locust plagues could trigger food shortages across the world.

September 18, 2020: Feast of Trumpets. Mighty Angel (Christ) announces ‘no more delay’. The resurrection of the dead and the ‘change’ of the living. Authorization to rebuild the temple (’little scroll’). Begin ten days of ministry by glorified believers. Satan attempts to ‘devour’ glorified believers.
September 28, 2020: Day of Atonement. Rapture of the first division of priest/kings (present day believers). Passing of the ‘baton’ of ministry to the 144,000 of Israel. Revival.
October 3, 2020: First day of Tabernacles. Sealing of 144K in the Holy Spirit. First anointing of the ‘double portion’ birthright.
October 11, 2020: “8th Day” of Tabernacles. Sealing of Gentile believers in the Holy Spirit. Second out-pouring of the Spirit on the 144K. Fulfillment of Joel 2:28,29 and John 7:37-39.
Sometime after the “8th Day” of Tabernacles: A great earthquake will be followed by the first 4 Trumpet and first 4 Seal events, which will take place almost simultaneously. One third of the earth (western hemisphere?) is devastated. Fresh water, vegetation, salt water are rendered toxic. One third of the light of sun and moon no longer shines (due to volcanic activity?). One quarter of the earth is affected by wars, pestilence, plagues, diseases, wild animals, famine. Many die.
October 31-November 1, 2020: Halloween/All Saint’s Day. The opening of the Abyss. Five months torture ending on First Fruits, 3/30/21. Those stung are not allowed to die. Millions come to faith in Christ. Final revival on earth before the return of Christ.
December 9, 2020: Hanukkah Eve. Dedication of the Temple, 1150 days since the beginning of the ministry of the Two Witnesses. Seventy days since the first day of Tabernacles and the sealing of the 144K, (which took place on 10/3/20).
March 19/20, 2021: Spring Equinox. Israel is ‘cleansed’ after the war which took place in the summer of 2020. Seven days before Passover. Begin 10 days of persecution of the saints by the Harlot and the earth dwellers.
March 28, 2021: Passover (falls on Sunday). The Scarlet Beast (7th King) suffers a mortal wound—most likely at the hands of the Two Witnesses, as a result of coming against them before the end of their 1260 days of ministry.
March 30, 2021: First Fruits. Rapture of the 144K. End 10 days persecution of believers—resurrected martyrs appear in heaven. End 5 months of torture by the ‘locust army’. End war in heaven. Satan is cast out of heaven with his angels. Satan, now on earth awaits the ‘resurrection’ of the Scarlet Beast/Beast from the Sea. Resurrection of the Beast and the ‘birth’ of the 8th King, now indwelt by Apollyon. Satan gives his ‘power, throne and great authority’ to the Beast. End 1260 days of the ministry of the Two Witnesses. The Beast/antichrist kills the Two Witnesses. Begin 42 month trampling of the Holy City/Jerusalem.
March 30-April 3, 2021: Feast of Unleavened Bread. Two Witnesses lie unburied in Jerusalem. Party time for the earth dwellers including gift exchanges. Earth dwellers ‘marvel’ at the resurrection and power of the Beast; worship of the Beast and Satan commences. Preparation for the ‘coronoation of the king/Antichrist’, which will take place in the rebuilt temple of God.
April 3, 2021: (Sabbath ends at sundown, 7PM). Midpoint of the 7 years, 1290 days since the Feast of Trumpets, 9/21/17. Abomination of desolation. Fire comes down from heaven, ‘authenticating’ the legitimacy of the Beast/Antichrist as Israel’s messiah. Sixth Trumpet—the destruction of Mystery Babylon by the Beast and the 10 Kings. Meanwhile, right now in China there is both drought and flood destroying the crops on a pretty large scale.
In the north there is severe drought and in other regions, especially on the Yangtze and tributary valleys, there is severe flooding in the bottoms where the crops grow.

There was widespread famine due to WW2.
Europe was still in ruins. Millions dead around the world.

So was Brenda. We both believed the Calvary Chapel “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” doctrine. We thought there would be 7 years of “Tribulation” and only one Rapture. Everyone previously treated Revelation as one long sequential prophecy with a couple of excerpts. That was wrong too. Revelation is a series of layered visions with “registration marks” to align them in proper order.
That failure cause us to all go back to see what the Word actually said was going to happen. This analysis is the result of that effort.
Jesus told his disciples that He was telling them things so that when they started to happen the disciples would believe. How soon one gets on board determines how rough ones ride will be. Nothing can stop what is coming. As Jesus also said, “Pray that you will be found worthy to avoid all this.”
