Police responded to a Christian congregation in upstate New York after Black Lives Matter protesters assaulted worshippers at the entrance of a church that was giving away two AR-15 rifles.
In a video that went viral on Facebook, protesters can be seen screaming at a woman holding a child and two others in tow as a man is pulled aside and punched repeatedly outside Grace Baptist Church in late June.
"Your church is going up in flames tonight," a protester can be heard yelling off-camera, the Times-Union, a local paper reported. Police say no arrests have been made.

One of the local gun stores here had an attempted break-in the other night and when the burglar couldn’t get in the front door they picked up a rock and cracked his front window. He got it all on tape. The DA said they would send him a list of MISDEMEANORS the woman was accused of. Misdemeanors! Attempted B&E is a misdemeanor?
New York has an Assault Weapon ban. What sort of “AR-15s” were the church trying to give away?

SCOTUS turned down several Assault Weapon Ban cases, letting the lower Circuit Court decisions upholding the bans stand as law.
I would not automatically assume that New York's Assault Weapon Ban is unconstitutional.
I mean, of course it is, but it seems unlikely for SCOTUS to rule that way.
I guarantee if this was happening to a AME church, Trump-Barr would have been on it immediately. Meanwhile, churches and Christian statues across the USA are being vandalized and attacked, and nothing is done. Nothing. The Feds will protect their empty buildings though.
There are NY compliant AR style guns. They are greatly crippled from what an AR should be.
The NY waterways have reefs of real AR style rifles lost in boating accidents.

A good friend of mine who was a pastor received death threats from the Klan because he married an interracial couple in his church; he sat up all night in his church with Mr. 12 gauge and Mr. 00 buckshot for company.
He didn’t have any problems (oh and by the way he was a veteran and not in the mood for any nonsense; every body in that town knew he was not somebody to monkey with.)
