n LAPD top shot who had become somewhat of a social media darling is facing a lawsuit after she fatally shot a man who appeared to advance towards her with a knife.

>>She obviously doesn’t know in today’s America, she should have got on her phone and called for the Emergency Social Worker to rush to the scene with a bouquet of flowers and defused the situation while she was backing up.<<
Or the unicorns.
Lethal force against someone with a box cutter?! Its not like anyone ever brought down a plane with one of those!
Per rip van biden, if someone is unarmed with a knife coming at you just shoot them in the leg. Or shoot the knife out of the perps hand. Sheesh. How hard is that?
It’s her or him. He chose unwisely.
Didn’t she know she had to be sliced up several times before requesting he put the cutter down?
How does she know what the officers mental state is? Thats a wild guess.
Seems her old man was someone who displayed reckless and suicidal tendencies.
Surely a justified shooting, at least the first 2 shots. He was on the ground no longer a threat when he took the rest of the lead. She may have a problem.
By the ancient laws of combat and lawful use of yoga pants this shooting is justified!
She was very calm, and professional
Did you watch the video??
The first shots did NOT keep him down.
She should demonstrate her violent tendencies in court on the plaintiffs lawyer.
He kept trying to get back up after every shot except the last one shot number six. He stopped moving only then and she stopped shooting.
A teen punk advanced on me with a boxcutter that he’d used to slash mug an old man on the subway. I lauged in the punks face and asked “What are ya gonna do with that?
See the difference between a man and a girl in the same situation?
If I’d had a gun it never would have entered my head to pull it. I wasn’t particularly worried.
The rule in any knife fight is the 21 foot rule. More for an old slow dude like me.
I saw the video and in my opinion, a righteous shoot.
She is sooo..”NOT GUILTY”.
I don’t think she’ll be found guilty. ;-)
I'll be able to breathe just as long as her knees are on both sides of my neck instead of "on" my neck...
