In response to some comments here, I did some poking around. I thought I remembered something about it...
Apparently, FBI and DHS officially declared ANTIFA to be a terrorist organization in 2017. I spent about a half hour searching, only found 2 specific articles. (imagine that, can’t find info on something that makes the Trump admin look good...)

Don’t know what has happened since then, all the recent articles are about Trump announcing he would do this. Seems odd to me, if it’s already done...

True or not, a variation on this tactic needs to be used frequently:
“Johnny Smith was arrested for setting fire to the Portland Federal Building. But thanks to the information he has provided us, we are now poised to indict thirty-five senior ANTIFA leaders over the next few weeks. Johnny is a hero, and we here at the DHS thank him for his service to the nation.”
Then let him go on the streets of Portland. ANTIFA will soon find itself very short on loyalists. :)

They are not armed with weapons or batons. strange? Also lead officer gives hand/face signal to the filmers. It’s a set up. Why wasn’t rioter cuffed? Rioter enters van like a little kid not a manly rioter. As an officer you do not put a rioter in your van without cuffing so they can not destroy the van or attack the officers. Made for TV. There was another video of the two “soldiers” getting into the mini-van. (Mom’s no doubt). The one “soldier” makes a sudden turn and step towards and leans into the photographer and then turns back to the car.
Reminded me of some teenage boy trying to scare his kid sister that no - she can’t some with them to the store.
