New York (AFP) -- A new book on Donald Trump written by his niece sold nearly a million copies on the first day it went on sale in the United States, its publisher said Thursday.

Mary Trump's "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man" is billed as the first unflattering portrayal of the US president by a family insider.

There are questions about whether Mary has ever even met DJT. There are seemingly no pictures of them together.

These family things involving estates can get ugly. I recently went through that with a family farm and 5 co-owners.

Your situation happens often and it tears families apart. I was in the estate planning business for a time and to see 4 siblings ruin a 10 million dollar a year company after the father died was tragic. I proposed some planning with them prior to the fathers passing and none of them believed it would happen the way it did.

Another client had to sell one of the three family farms just to pay the estate taxes dues. Their small town lawyer, against my recommendations of life insurance to pay future estate taxes, recommended no life insurance, 10 years later they now have a huge bill due.

Yeah the number seems highly suspect. Basically they are saying that one of every 330 Americans bought a copy. Estimating 30 millions are illiterate, that's one in every 300. Last stats I can find from 2018 show about 48 Million Americans are aged 11 and under, and I know none of them bought a copy, so that's one in every 252 Americans who allegedly bought the book on the same day. I just don't see it happening.
