He is. Many people around here refused to believe it, because it's too depressing to think about. They need hope. If Barr is a worm, the hope rainbow melts.

Sticking our heads in the sand, however, is never a good option.

I read a story last week that Trump told Barr "You've broken your sword on this one" in regards to Trump commuting the sentence of Roger Stone. Barr KNEW that Stone was persecuted, that the judge and jury forewoman were hopelessly compromised and biased, and that the FBI had acted atrociously in the case.

But Barr didn't care. He called Stone's persecution and prosecution "righteous" in the media.

Has Trump finally woken up? Who knows.

I'll say this: I find it highly doubtful that Barr is secretly working to round up the Deep State (including Obama, Soros, and Hillary), put them in chains, fly them to Gitmo, and have them tried by military officers who will serve as jurors. That hope is one of the foundations of Q Anon, and adhered to by many people. Hey, I would like to see that as well. But it's never going to happen.

It may be a win for Trump but likely is a loss for Trumpism.

Whatever his faults as AG, Sessions would likely be the more Trumpian senator (he was the first office holder to support Trump, and did so strongly and clearly). Tuberville’s history is a lot less less clear.

If (when?) we get amnesty it is probable that Tuberville will be one of the Yes votes.
