Never heard of it....but this little town I live near..has a couple indie burger joints...and make great burgers and fries.

Worked at McDonald's all through high school (1970's), I was interviewed for the job, and had to meet certain metrics along the way.
I was trained by others who had pride in what they did.
Maybe it was just the era?
I have visited Alabama quite a few times. The people, all races and ethnicities, are universally polite and pleasant. Except for that one TSA asshole. You know who you are.
I actually cook mostly Sous Vide..these days.
But still use a hot plate..of some sort too!

I thought the intersection of big patties of beef, plastic cheese, deep fried potatoes, and insulin spiking soft drinks, and woke BLM would be nonexistent.
Not the era, but the company. I didnt work for a mcdonalds, but I’m well aware of their hiring practices which was and is more strict than the places Ive worked at.
