New Steele evidence strengthens Durham prosecution as frustration over inaction grows

A British court decision unmasks new evidence of FBI abuses in the Russia collusion probe.

It was in London that the whole Russia collusion caper began four years ago, so it seems only fitting that as the discredited probe enters its final phase that damning new evidence of the FBI’s failures would emerge back in England.

This week when a British judge ruled against the former FBI human source Christopher Steele, the decision delivered more than an order for the former spy’s company to pay damages to two Russian businessmen maligned by his dossier.

It also introduced new incontrovertible evidence that bolsters Attorney General William Barr's and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s probe into whether the FBI engaged in misconduct and criminally deceived the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to win permission to spy on the Trump campaign.

Buried in Justice Mark Warby’s ruling were several new pieces of evidence that answer long lingering questions about just what the FBI knew, and when it knew it.

...

Steele kept his own notes of what he told FBI agents the first time he met them on July 5, 2016 in London to discuss his anti-Trump Russia research.

...

Steele told his FBI handlers from the get-go that the dossier’s “ultimate client were (sic) the leadership of the Clinton presidential campaign.”

the FBI knew immediately that the dossier it used to justify a FISA warrant targeting the Trump campaign was a political opposition research product designed to help Clinton defeat her Republican opponent and did not divulge the connection.

...

A growing number of President Trump's defenders are growing frustrated that Durham’s investigation hasn’t produced a single prosecution after a year of investigation. Iowa Republican Sen. Charles Grassley decried Durham's lack of action as “SAD, SAD, SAD”

I find it unbelievable that AG BArr hasn’t ordered ALL of them Arrested and Held without Bail for National Security Reasons.

my wife watches true crime shows, and from what I have seen of them, there is More Evidence in the Public against these Quislings in the Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow The United States Government than Probably EVERY PERSON ON DEATH ROW

“Durham prosecution.”

They keep using that term. I don’t think it means what they think it means.

Durham must be real dunce or incredibly incompetent. There is an abundance of information in the public domain that almost anyone could use to make a strong case against many of the members of the cabal and their FBI confederates. I mean, how hard can this be?

*************

She is therefore probably more qualified than Durham.

Seriously, could the rest of us who worked in real jobs have gotten away with this kind of delaying and lack of production?

I don't believe durham or barr have any intention or desire to get to the bottom all this. But even if they did, there is no way a DC jury will unanimously vote to convict any dem pitted against Trump. The judicial system in this country is every bit as corrupt as the doj/fbi, intelligence agencies and congress. It appears useless from my perspective.

Agree with your assessment. The entire system is probably hopelessly corrupt.

John Huber (Deep state = Obama hold over) and then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions (Deep State) hid / buried any corruption about Hillary and the Clinton Foundation.

Huber was appointed by Sessions for one reason only: Protect Hillary Clinton at all costs. Huber “lost” critical evidence sent to him by witnesses THREE TIMES..

In June of 2019, Bill Barr admitted Huber had not even initiated an investigation into this matter. Deep State wins again.

Clinton Foundation whistleblowers sent thousands of pages of evidence to Huber proving the Clinton Foundation was a personal piggy bank for the Clintons.

The witnesses told the committee they had to send their evidence to the Huber investigation THREE TIMES because Huber kept losing it... John Huber still has not interviewed key witnesses..

Mark Meadows (R-NC), Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Doug Collins (R-GA) sent a letter to John Huber on January 8th 2019 demanding answers, but they never received a response.

As soon as Barr found this out he should have fired Huber for dereliction of duty.

Don Jr. tweeted that Durham needs to get his material out before the election, not after.

I was in the mode of sitting back waiting for Barr to get it right, take the time necessary as he remarked “these things take time”.

But after Don Jr.’s tweet, there may be something to the possibility the Durham investigation findings will be held until after the election.

There are several things Barr has said publicly that are disturbingly out of line with justice and evidence. There are at least an equal number of things that are inline with justice and verifiable, validated evidence.

The result is confusion.

Durham is running out the clock.

He has one Indictment, somebody on the Internet that supposedly threatened Adam Schiff.

Not even hard to figure out.

And Joe Biden is on Video admitting to a Felony.

It’s plain and clear.

Better if Barr fired Huber for dereliction of duty then submitted his resignation for failing to bring a prosecution to Trump’s adversaries. But that won’t happen because Trump has not found the $BILLIONS of secret CIA funds that keep these insurrectionists in relative comfort. And Barr is part of that.

Exactly, and the judges are heavily biased as well. And that is the real reason why there have been no indictments. The bar is set way too high for the successful prosecution of any significant Left-leaning political appointee.

All the evidence in the world would be considered insufficient to convict - and without a strong expectation of conviction - a case is considered weak, and will never get off the ground in DC.

It should be fairly clear by now that the President is NOT in charge of the DOJ. Barr is doing exactly what he told the Senate during his confirmation hearing and no matter what President Trump has to say or wants Barr to do makes any difference.

President Trump, as a Manager has been extremely weak in this area. He has failed to set goals for his department heads and has failed to ensure they are performing properly. Barr and Durham just like Sessions and Huber are playing the ‘rope-a-dope’ running the clock out.

This business with Flynn is a good example of Barr doing just enough to squeak by, nothing more.

Huber was Sessions guy. This was not shocking at all and more reason why we need Sessions defeated. He will be another Romney/McCain in his next Senate term.
