Don Jr. tweeted that Durham needs to get his material out before the election, not after.
I was in the mode of sitting back waiting for Barr to get it right, take the time necessary as he remarked “these things take time”.
But after Don Jr.’s tweet, there may be something to the possibility the Durham investigation findings will be held until after the election.
There are several things Barr has said publicly that are disturbingly out of line with justice and evidence. There are at least an equal number of things that are inline with justice and verifiable, validated evidence.
The result is confusion.
It should be fairly clear by now that the President is NOT in charge of the DOJ. Barr is doing exactly what he told the Senate during his confirmation hearing and no matter what President Trump has to say or wants Barr to do makes any difference.
President Trump, as a Manager has been extremely weak in this area. He has failed to set goals for his department heads and has failed to ensure they are performing properly. Barr and Durham just like Sessions and Huber are playing the ‘rope-a-dope’ running the clock out.
This business with Flynn is a good example of Barr doing just enough to squeak by, nothing more.

But the most likely outcome will be that Durham will say that it’s too close to election so he’ll wait until after, the when Biden wins, they’ll just close up shop.

Durham has been hinting lately that he does not think he will conclude investigation by election. I think he is stalling because, in his mind he has calculated if Trump is not elected, the new Dem AG will not pursue any prosecutions he recommends and his work will be all for naught, His investigation will be shut down as soon as the new Dem AG takes office. If Trump is reelected then he may start returning recommendations to prosecute to AG Barr knowing they will be pursued.

the only way Durham does anything is if We the People pressure our elected representatives.
He’ll not respond to AG Barr or PDJT. His job is primarily defense of the swamp-the job description for a special prosecutor.
We the People need to scream bloody murder and make representative government represent our concerns and interests.
