A deadly ‘unknown pneumonia’ that has a higher death rate than Covid-19 is understood to have broken out in Kazakhstan, Chinese officials warned.
The Chinese embassy, which quoted local media reports, said Atyrau and Aktobe counties as well as Skymkent city had seen a spike in cases of the illness since mid-June.
Kazakhstan’s Health Ministry said it had recorded more than 32,000 cases of pneumonia and 451 deaths from the illness between June 29 and July 5 alone.
The embassy said the central Asian nation had 1,772 deaths in the first half of the year, including 628 las month – some of whom were Chinese nationals.
It then described the sickness as an “unknown pneumonia” even though officials in Kazakhstan did not say whether there was anything unusual about it.
A spokesman for the embassy said: “The death rate of this disease is much higher than the novel coronavirus.
“The country’s health departments are conducting comparative research into the pneumonia virus, but have yet to identify the virus.”
Diplomats urged Chinese nationals to take the same precautions as with Covid-19.

I agree with you. I choose to live as an Easter person, rather than a Good Friday person. (I also have my first great niece due in October, the would will be a better place once she is born) As a Roman Catholic I am an Easter person.
Hopefully kazakh is more open than China and we have our people over there to identify this virus. And that is is not the precursor of a “second wave” ( deadlier) as was the pattern on the 1918 flu pandemic. Originating out of the Uighur autonomous region but being attributed to kazakhstan origin

Our older generation has been living in an America gone left and so gone bad. Political correctness, Godlessness, rabid feminists, faggotry, socialist teachers, Chinese junk, fear-mongering, now BLM devilry. They’ve been demonized and silenced for speaking truth about these things, for decades. They’re portrayed as stupid and are out-voted by cheaters.
They’ve been responsible, worked hard, raised families and behaved themselves. They don’t want the world to end, not at all, no. But, they’re very saddened and dismayed by what they see now, and are not much hopeful about a return to reason, truth and virtue (which they lived in previously and really miss now).

It angers me when someone cheers at the thought of the world ending. It’s selfish beyond belief.
And I have irrational relatives (namely my mother) who is bad to say “We won’t be here next year”. She’s been saying that for the last twenty years, lol.
She also gets on my nerves by stating that the power grid will go off any day. It’s no wonder that I’m on anxiety pills. Doom and gloom.
IMO, it’s a sin to obsess about the end of the world. You are supposed to live your life. It’s selfish and wrong to want to deny anyone else the opportunity to achieve their goals.
It also angers me how Christians absolutely, positively REFUSE to fight the Anti-White, Communist subhumans who are destroying this country. They just shrug and say “It’s God’s will.” That mindset sounds positively Islamic because muslims have a saying “It’s Allah’s will”.
They must have forgotten that God helps those who help themselves.
As the Def Leppard song says “We need action, not words”.
