A white Oakland County, Michigan couple were charged with felony assault on Thursday after a video of a pregnant woman defending herself from a black woman with a firearm went viral.
Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper charged Jillian Wuestenberg , 32, and Eric Wuestenberg, 42, each with one count of felonious assault, a four-year felony, the Detroit News reported.

The couple was arraigned Thursday at 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills.
Both were given a $50,000 personal bond.
“As part of the bond conditions, they must turn over all firearms, not engage in any assaultive behavior, and may not leave the state,” sheriff’s officials said.
The incident stemmed from a bump and lack of apology, according to Bouchard.
“Let’s have a little more tolerance for each other and not being so quick to react,” Bouchard said. “If someone is doing something improper or unfair, I tell my family and friends to look away. This is not the moment to plant your flag.”
A white couple leaving a Chipotle restaurant this week were falsely accused of racism by a black woman and her 15-year-old daughter.
The black woman accused a pregnant white woman of bumping into her daughter near the e
ntrance of the restaurant and demanded an apology.
The white woman tried to deescalate the confrontation by peacefully walking away and got into her car as the black woman called her a “dumbass bitch.”
The black woman then turned her ire toward white woman’s husband and threatened him: “And if you say something I’ll beat your white ass too.”
As the white couple backed up their vehicle to leave the parking lot, the black woman rushed behind the SUV to block them from leaving and accused them of ‘trying to hit her.’
The black woman pounded on the vehicle and threatened to beat them.
This is when the confrontation escalated.
The white woman got out of the car and pulled out her firearm after being assaulted and threatened, “Get the f*ck away!” she screamed. “Back the f*ck up!”
Eric Wuestenberg was fired from his job at Oakland University following the incident.
“We have seen the video, and we deem his behavior unacceptable.” the university said in a statement.

IMHO, in the GA shooting, Arbery probably thought he was about to get shot. I watched a video of a man who explained it as a culture clash: He said, where Arbery grew up, if you see a man with a gun, you’re about to die. But, where that father and son lived, a gun just means, “Get off my property,” or “Don’t move. The police are on the way.”
But, in this story about the couple, that woman seemed certain that the pregnant woman was afraid and wouldn’t shoot her. Clearly, she wasn’t afraid of that couple at all, just as left-wing Antifa-type rioters don’t seem afraid of the police, even though they claim the police are so brutal. Both are examples of bullies who’ve been getting away with pushing people around for a long time.
He or she should also emphasize the current environment of high racial tension in which this confrontation took place. BLM and other agitators have been on the attack for weeks now all over the country.
Another story is saying the black woman is married to a Detroit police officer, who was on his way to the scene.
The Husband of the white couple called 911, as did the Black woman's husband.

I’m probably no more intelligent than many but have focused on solving some kinds problems and becoming educated in some categories of knowledge as a result. Anyone can do it, and many people should.
SETUP! Jessica Cooper is obviously a leftist PC dim-wit-o-cRAT moron. The “Sherriff”? Tells his family and friends to “look away”? Gutless, spineless PC idiot. Life in danger? Maybe – but how far does it have to be let go? They couldn’t back up, the SOW was standing behind the car. The EBT welfare scum were BEATING on the car and THREATENING the couple. The charges should be dropped, Cooper and the “Sherriff” fired and jailed, the husband’s former employers and the county both sued for MILLIONS.
“Assault,” generally, does not require physical contact. That is Battery.
A good lawyer will get the charges dropped once all the evidence is presented, but it’s going to be expensive. Today, more than ever, because the system is upside down, if you are going to carry, better to have some carry insurance, like lawshield or uscca. I’m not advocating any one brand over the other, but when defending yourself can put you in the poor house, it’s prudent thing to have insurance.
