The English did indeed offer freedom to slave who came to their side. But then so too did the Continental Army. But when Cornwallis was under siege at Yorktown, he forced the blacks from his camp to save food for his soldiers.
The English did take freed slaves with them to Canada and later offered to resettle them in Sierra Leone.

I haven’t run across a Continental Army offer. Was that issued by the Continental Congress?
The 2nd Royal proclamation, Philipsburg Proclamation, didn’t require slaves to fight for the King. They gained freedom by simply running away to the British lines.

There are 10 Federal Holidays. Blacks are 13% of the population so they only get 1.13 holidays per year. They got their quota now.

There’s reason to think that this insurrection is being run from outside the country with Iran as the main suspect. The billions that Obama gave to Iran financing the operation, and coordination here getting done by various Iran sympathizers connected to Obama.

By June 19, 1865, many, if not most of the slaves in the Confederacy had already been freed under the Emancipation Proclamation. Slaves held in Union states would have to wait until the 13th Amendment was ratified in December, 1865 to be freed. And those held by some Indian tribes would have to wait even longer.
It’s not Texas-specific. It’s the date upon which it became officially recognized by all America that slaves had been emancipated. It’s a significant date in history. And it should be federally recognized.
If Trump made that happen, can you imagine how that would affect his reputation among African Americans ... for decades if not centuries?
