“The English did indeed offer freedom to slave who came to their side. But then so too did the Continental Army.”

I haven’t run across a Continental Army offer. Was that issued by the Continental Congress?

The 2nd Royal proclamation, Philipsburg Proclamation, didn’t require slaves to fight for the King. They gained freedom by simply running away to the British lines.

I’ve wondered why BLM doesn’t escalate their condemnation of America to include the Revolution itself, demanding that we surrender to Queen Elizabeth and apologize for 244 years of illegal secession.

I believe they have by their attacks on Washington and Jefferson. At one demonstration a sign was carried with July, 4 crossed out with ‘Juneteenth’ replacing it.

The reality is the radicals wish to undo the U.S.A. and create something in its place. I for one do not wish to live there.
