The potential problem is many nations fund sectarian schools. This has been the lever to force these schools to teach things that go against their values.

Finally, one case that blackmailed Roberts was allowed to vote on the correct way.

Why doesn’t this guy just resign - his decision-making since the Obamacare decision has been pretty UN- Iriginalist, and it is obvious that something happened. Perhaps an emissary from Trump can, after the election, visit with Roberts and let him know that it is highly unethical for a blackmailed judge to rule on cases, with appropriate evidence, and give him a week or two to resign.

“Roberts does the right thing.” Can’t be true - FReeper after FReeper has sworn that Roberts is a leftist sellout.

Two words: Stopped clock.

He is a sellout. Any case before the court which will evoke liberal riots if his deciding vote is cast against them, he will always vote with the leftist bloc without fail.

If Kennedy was against Obergefell, there’s no doubt in my mind he’d have flipped his vote, just like he did with saving Husseincare.

Their ideology directly stands in the way of children getting quality educations.

Of course, there is a perfectly logical explanation. They could care less about children and their education. They send their own children to private schools, not public schools. What they care about is the teachers' unions. They can't and will not offend them.

Of course the “liberals” won’t go along. More people who understand their rights flow from their creator and not from government fiat, are a threat to everything they desire.

It’s also a back door for government control of private schools, want government money can’t teach homosexuality is a sin. Can’t fire gay teachers.. can’t fire a transvestite etc etc.

The four Liberals on the Court believe the statement “separation of Church and State” is written in our Constitution.

The same four Liberals on the Court think the statement “shall not be infringed” is not written in our Constitution.

That is our last best hope Court for you.

Did you read any of those rulings? Trump lost on DACA because he didn’t simply issue an EO overturning it, but let his people d*** around with interpretations of regulations - and do it without the legally mamdated public notice. The ruling was correct; the administration earned the loss.

MONTANA

Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue
(argued January 22, 2020): Challenge to a decision by the Montana Supreme Court invalidating a tax-credit program because the scholarships created by the program could be used at religious schools. Roberts and Justice Stephen Breyer have not yet written opinions for January; because the January argument session only had eight arguments, one of them will not write an opinion

this is the case

Once those vouchers go to Religious schools, they become, for all intents and purposes, Government Schools.

Yes it does. That’s why I am now against vouchers. We have a couple of private islamic schools in my state and they are treated like any other private school. I don’t want my tax money going to teach islam to kids. If that means it doesn’t go to catholic or protestant private schools, then too bad.
