As face masks become a societal norm, many people are speaking out against those who are choosing not to wear them, and some critics say that wearing a mask may determine how smart you are.
John Lundin, a self-described environmental activist and author, recently tweeted, A mask is not a political statement. Its an IQ test. His tweet was met with many comments of support.
A recent Gallup/Knight Foundation poll that asked, In the past 7 days, how often did you wear a mask or cloth face covering outside your home? showed that 30% of high school graduates, 41% of college graduates and 46% of postgraduates always wear masks.

LMAO ROFL...
“I wear one when I grocery shop and walk around making faces and sticking out my tongue at people, it’s wonderful fun.”
LOL! There are lots of college babes in my local Publix. I can lip say exactly what I’m thinking:
“Wow! Nice rack!”
“Your body’s calling me!”
“You need to work on that tan!”
OTOH, the girls feel psychically protected behind their masks and brush very close in the aisles. Had some near-thigh misses & avoided several jiggle collisions. I’m not Tom Cruise, either.
Take the good with the bad; if they think my mask means I’m a good person who can be trusted, then bring it on!
Girls smile with their eyes, too.
;^)
I do not expect anyone to do anything for me.
Dang. Thanks cause I was really feeling bummed. NOT! LOL!
Well, they did say ‘face’ mask. We’re two stoopid to know witch won to whair.
Haha yea can you imagine wearing a mask into a bank even a year ago? Thanks for the screen name nod, it is homage to 1/9. (actually been my screen name for decades haha)
No, we are NOT doing furries!
Say “new normal” one...more...time...
Then you must do whatever you think it takes to protect yourself from others. Isolation, social distancing or wearing protective gear, whatever.
If you are not patient zero, someone else gave it to you.
If you are not patient zero, someone else gave it to you.
Absolutely.
There is only one way to stop a virus and that is herd immunity. The choice is how to get there, synthetically through vaccine or the old fashion way?
I choose the old fashion way. The first thing we should do is get all the schools going again, no precautions, back to normal. These little guys are your prime movers towards immunity. The higher risk should isolate, and get the rest of us back to work
I see no reason to allow a virus in humanity any longer than we need to. The curve has been flattened, there is no capacity problem, to keep up with all this nonsense only serves to prolong the virus.
Oh, come on, it’s not that baaaaaaad.
Good post.
:)
If there is a 10% chance I could die, I would certainly have second thought about letting a stranger cough on me for the sake of herd immunity.
In the case of covid we have been bombarded with so much bogus "official and authoritative" information we were stampeded.
If this were Ebola I would wear a mask and probably a body condom if I was within 10 feet of an infected person.
*** “Does wearing a Mask mean you are Sick?” ***
Nope just Stupid
Its nearly hallucinogenic.
This CANT be happening!
:D
/ wearing my We Are All Infected shirt today
LOL! That’ll trigger a long thread!
