Country rocker Willie Nelson is set to perform at Joe Bidens virtual fundraiser on Monday.
Willie Nelson will join singer Robert Earl Keen as well as politicos including former HUD Secretary Julián Castro, failed presidential candidate Beto ORourke, and former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards and the daughter of ex-Texas Governor Ann Richards. Biden supporters are expected to pay between $250 and $100,000 to view the Internet broadcast.

I believe it has always been about his unique voice. He did an album of old standards and did them justice. Then there is his beat up guitar with its own sound. Always figured him to be an old hippie liberal, but like many of his songs. Now he's just another old progressive putz. He couldn't just shut up and play.
I thought he was a Bernie Bro.
Way to stand for your convictions, Willie, LOL!
Ask Willie to name Biden’s stand on any topic.
I couldn’t care less about Willie Nelson, but I hate to see that Robert Earl Keen has drunk the Kool-Aid.
I would like to know how they handle drug distribution for these virtual events. They certainly don’t want an audience that are not completely stoned. Perhaps people will have to self certify that they have an ample supply on hand before they are allowed to log into the virtual event.
OMG people are going to pay $100,000 to listen to Willy Nelson on line REALLY??? I wouldnt spend 99 cents to stream him on Amazon!!!
"Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other" - Willie Nelson
Willie's singing was never very good, but I do think that in his prime, he could put a song over pretty well. I'm not a fan, but I have heard a few recordings of his that I liked. And he wrote some very good songs.
A co-worker caught his act at the Houston Rodeo this year (just before it was shut down due to COVID-19). She said Willie has pretty much lost it now. Basically speaking the words to the song with little semblance to actual singing (and he has half-spoken most of his songs throughout his career).
“Never understood how Willie Nelson, who cant sing or play guitar, became so famous.”
He wrote a bunch of songs, some were huge hits.
Willie Nelson to raise money to kill babies.
Thankfully former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, daughter of ex-Texas Governor Ann Richards.
To her mother Ann: What does your daughter do for a living?
Ann: She kills babies.
Willie Nelson probably smells as bad as he looks.
He has never had any convictions, he's been all over the map. However, I still like the sound of his voice and his crappy old guitar. Him and Waylon Jennings did, "Don't Let Your Babies Grow-up To Be Cowboys". A genuine classic country song. Nelson did many other classics, although I couldn't stand, "On The Road Again", probably his biggest hit.
Not surprised he got TDS being the epitome of a country hippie.
So Joe the Frotteur
So, $250 to $100,000 per person to watch Biden on a webstream.
LOL! May surprise you that I actually know/knew what that means. Former friend was taking some sort of psychology course and that came up and he related it to us. Sounds like rip van biden is involved in that sort of activity.
That’s really disgraceful for Willy to do something like that. I liked some of his songs...not all, just some. Guess I have no use for his politics.
Probably now more kookaid C&W folks than you think there should be.
KOOL not kook. Then again.....................
