I was trained for asbestos abatement but was not fitted for PPE as it is illegal to fit a person with a beard. Anyone wearing a beard can not be tightly fitted. It is probably more dangerous for a person with a beard to wear a mask.

My guess is that they are probably about 90% effective at reducing infections at grocery stores.
Masks are tools. They, like police officers, are not anywhere close to 100% effective.

Last week in Cabelas, I was told I had to wear a mask in order to shop. The employee was wearing a mask under his chin because it was hard to breathe. Two other employees also had their masks below their mouth.
Makes perfect sense. Animal Farm wise. So I put on my “UNDER DURESS” mask. Then, I walked away and put my mask under my chin.
It keeps your germs from going to others. They do not protect you from getting it from someone else. Nice huh?

I Have sleep apnea so I hike outdoors as often as I can. Now the Audobon is requiring masks when hiking and that is counter-productive for me.
