Former Australian chess representative John Adams has slammed the ABC for organising a radio segment discussing whether the popular board game is racist.
Professional economist Adams received a call from a Sydney-based ABC producer on Tuesday asking whether the game was racist because white always moves first.
“I just received a phone call from an ABC Sydney based producer seeking a comment about the game of chess,” Adams posted to Twitter.
“The ABC have taken the view that chess is RACIST given that white always go first!
“They are seeking comment from a chess official as to whether the rules of chess need to be altered!
“Trust the taxpayer-funded national broadcaster to apply ideological Marxist frameworks to anything and everything in Australia!

Which I obviously don't. I know the rules of how to play chess. But not enough to be more than an amateur.
Chess needs a new rule for the pawns -- bail.
From now on, in lieu of a move, any piece other than the Knight, can choose to bail out a removed pawn and place it in front of the piece if the square is vacant.

I submit to the world that the SUN is racist and has been since the beginning of time. Its obvious rule over the black of night shows its obvious bias. The sun is warm and comforting but the night is cold and scary.

1. Every time the black player loses his rook (castle,) the white player must provide him a new one.
2. Black kings may never be check-mated.
3. The black queen should be allowed any number of kings, some imprisoned, but only one or two on the board at any given time.
4. Black kings are to move in the standard way except when imprisoned (formerly check-mated,) at which time they may disappear for a length of time of their choosing. During their absence they may play in other games.
5. White knights may not jump over black players.
6. The black pawn must automatically be promoted at any time, for any reason.
Sure it’s racist. You have a white team and a black team. It would be fun, though, to rewrite chess rules to reflect “white privilege” (i.e. white bishops and rooks can move interchangeably, black knights can only move laterally, etc.)

In the whole history if Marxism, the victim NEVER becomes the boss.
Yet chess also routinely offers the experience of having a White King menaced by a Black Queen. I don’t know how that can be anything but highly affirming for the Black LGBTQ crowd.
When we played, someone would take a black and white pawn, put them behind his back, move them from hand to hand, then bring them out front. The opposing member would then chose one hand, and what ever color it was is what you played.
Everything is racist.....political....should come under the control of the party.
