You have to install the tracer for it to work with Droid.

As Bluetoot is approximately 50 foot range the “contact tracer” app is pc nonsense. Like most things Covid, 90% virtue signaling bull manure.

Something tells me anything De Blowsio initiates will be ineffective. WHY?

De Blowsio, as he's already proven, is NOT a person who gets the job done. He would screw up a free lunch at a Sunday school picnic.

Most of “contact tracing” and the standard four CV questions asked by various health care providers and a few (fortunately, for now) businesses is staking everything on people answering HONESTLY.

I don’t have such a Polyannish view of human nature.

People LIE.

That’s why its listed in the 10 Commandments.

“have to install the tracer”

It installed automatically on mine. (yeah, it’s enabled).

50 foot range works good for tracking you for kungflu contacts.

Your odds of catching Covid from someone passing by 50 foot from you is somewhere between impossible and not. Specially if they are driving in the opposing lane...

Probably going to have a hard time finding employees if they keep on giving an extra $600 on unemployment. Funny how socialism always imploded on itself.

They want hired contact tracers to be costly and ineffective so they can push for electronic tracking. Here's the hint from the article:

"China, South Korea and Germany and other countries have set up extensive tracking programs that have helped officials make major strides in reducing the outbreak. In South Korea, for example, people at weddings, funerals, karaoke bars, nightclubs and internet-game parlors write down their names and telephone numbers, and the authorities have been able to draw on cellphone location data, credit card transactions and even closed-circuit video footage to identify and isolate potential contacts."

New York Times, Sharon Otterman, June 21, 2020

Complete electronic surveillance - this manual effort with trained contact tracers was just a diversion to justify "technology" as less expensive and more effective. And some say, "Well I'll leave my cell phone at home," to which these people say, "You have to have your cell phone with you or a vaccination ID to go shopping, go to work, board a plane etc. etc."

The entire concept is bizarre. You get 20,000 antifa thugs marching down Fifth Avenue and you’re supposed to trace these animals? For what, and how?

When an illness becomes the excuse to Scarlet Letter your neighbor.

Old Soviet Style Reporting System.

The method they used to haul dissenters to the Gulag.

If the Joe Biden Crime Network (JBCN) gets installed in the White House through vote fraud, contact tracing will be a method to funnel tax dollars to the anarchists to keep those statues coming down.

The big initial surge is over and with that goes any true need for contact tracing. It is only in the beginning, trying to contain the initial surge that contact tracing is needed and practical. After that it is just the state extending, past any “pandemic stage”, its attempt at controlling the population, just to show its power to control.

If “contact” tracing was needed and practical it would already be a standard operating procedure with the seasonal flu.
