My terrifying five-day stay inside Seattles cop-free CHAZ
(Excerpt) Read more at nypost.com ...
From Article:
SEATTLE On June 8, Seattle police frantically loaded what they could from the east precinct onto trucks and cars. Within hours, they boarded up and abandoned the station. That night, left-wing protesters from Black Lives Matter and Antifa declared ownership of the six-block neighborhood in the middle of the Pacific Northwests largest city. They named their new territory the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ. No laws or rules applied here except for one: No cops allowed.
During five undercover days and nights in the zone, I witnessed a continuing experiment in anarchy, chaos and brute-force criminality. In order to avoid being exposed as a journalist several reporters have been barred or expelled I slept and showered outside the zone. (Those inside have no showers but they do have portable bathrooms.) I took meals, and most of my water breaks, elsewhere because I was reluctant to remove my mask and risk being recognized. Every day I entered the zone twice through its semi-porous borders once in the early afternoon, and again after sundown, staying until the wee hours.
Crime has surged inside and outside the zone.

Do people die like flies from COVID in there?
This guy has guts. No doubt in my mind the ferals would kill him this time if he’s recognized.
Good grief. People send in food and supplies. The City is enabling them by providing porta potties and graffiti canvases. (On whose dime?)
Should Chaz last until next year - I imagine that Fathers Day 2021 will be wrought with confusion.
Thanks
Thanks
De nada.
I already pinged moderator five seconds after posting. Sorry if you are offended.
Wait until the owners of those businesses and apartment buildings get their next real estate tax bills. One hopes that Mayor Dookys precious little exercise in flouting lawful authority will be the basis for either a big discount or a class-action lawsuit.
Several are permanently leaving already, because they see np rescue coming.
Talk about a food desert, right? At least one was a grocery store. Clearly, these people aren’t self-sufficient.
Elections have consequences. If this isn’t a perfect example of that nothing is.
BLM folks need to realize that we are all one shade or another of brown. Except for albinos, who are pink.
Do gooders feel sorry for them and send food. The do gooders are foolish, have no common sense and lack good judgment.

Why would you ping five seconds after posting?
Why would you think I am offended?
