CNN)The Trump campaign confirmed six staffers working on the Tulsa rally tested positive for coronavirus. "Per safety protocols, campaign staff are tested for COVID-19 before events. Six members of the advance team tested positive out of hundreds of tests performed, and quarantine procedures were immediately implemented. No COVID-positive staffers or anyone in immediate contact will be at today's rally or near attendees and elected officials. As previously announced, all rally attendees are given temperature checks before going through security, at which point they are given wristbands, facemasks and hand sanitizer," Tim Murtaugh, Campaign Communications Director, said in a statement.

Every time I hear of CNN covering ANYTHING on the right, I think of Roger Stone. They seem to “magically” appear when problems concerning conservatives arise.
Hopefully their reporters on the ground get .......! Nah, Im not gonna say it, just think it!
Probably 90 % to 99% of positives now are mild or no-symptom flu. The bad stuff seems to have turned weaker and much more of it is becoming visible because the tests are now ubiquitous and many many people who would not have bothered are getting tested and LO! half of everybody has the not-so-deadly disease or had it and didn’t suspect. CNN would love to get the rally cancelled or condemned for spreading the Dreaded Plague. Well, such a gathering now, when the circulating virus is apparently weaker is immunizing lots of people against the next go-round.
Oh no! Quarantine the state!
It’s not just CNN having a meltdown. Fox is going full throttle anti-rally right now.
They may well be true positives but for most the CCPV is an annoyance, not a problem and the strain extant is apparently a weakening form. What people are spreading is immunization.
When there are a million people wanting to get in any that demur at this point will be instantly replaced.
Never interviewed the rioters-”protesters”, to see if they had ever been tested.
Big whoop...
So sick of this crap.
Testing is expanding and stats are being lumped together pushing narrative of fear mongering.
Do they stream the whole rally or just the lead up?
The test for antibodies is a completely separate test.
The test they’re talking about here is for active viral proteins in the subject’s system. It means the virus is currently present. It doesn’t mean you are showing symptoms. A positive test can also come after the infection has been beaten since some viral proteins can remain for a period of time (typically days, but in some cases I’ve read about it being there for weeks with SARS-CoV-2), depending on how widespread the infection was.
The campaign is doing the responsible thing and regularly testing their workers. When some tested positive, they were removed to prevent further spread. My main concern would be President Trump, VP Pence, and any older members of the crowd. We need all of them healthy and ready to vote in November.
My daughter is an RN and said some of her patients had been tested 3-5 times due to the patients saying they had symptoms.
Their results were different every time and they still had the so-called symptoms. Of course, each time a test is given, those results are counted even if that means a person could have tested positive twice or more.
I don’t trust the numbers at all.
The entire rally. They are good!
‘Sometimes I think that all the testing does is inflate the numbers so that tyrannical Govs. like Inslee can keep the state locked down and maintain his dictatorial powers.’
‘sometimes’ you think that...?
Two of the six are Secret Service Agents.
TESTING is way up which is GOOD.
Deaths from the virus are DOWN which is GOOD.
Yet all the MSM talks about is NEW cases, most all of which will NOT result in death, but in CURE.
Blame the MSM, authors of another BULL$HIT "Oh Noes, it's the end of the world" moment.
They obviously got the virus from secret anti-Trump people, the great unwashed. They sure didn’t get it at the rally. /sarc
