Protesters tore down a statue of George Washington in Portland on Thursday night, where demonstrations against racism and police brutality have taken place for 22 consecutive days.
The statue was torn down on the eve of Juneteenth, a historic holiday celebrating the official end of slavery in the United States. A group of approximately twenty people gathered around the statue in the late evening, where some protesters wrapped the statue’s head in an American flag and lit on fire, according to multiple sources.

They do what they are told, because they don’t know their history, and they don’t know their asses from a hole in the ground!

Which people let it happen? The authorities who are charged with the responsibility of protecting this type of property, or the citizens who would have been jailed for taking action to prevent it themselves?
The authorities are triple damned: They failed their duty to protect it, failed to administer justice to those who did it, and threatened arrest and overcharging to any private citizens that might have tried to protect it.
This is not protesting. It’s treason, plain and simple. Line the bastards up against the wall!

I’ll be voting in that landslide, but Justice Roberts is
doing his best to nullify our votes, with his outside the
rule of law opinions.
That IS the saddest part about it!! If you don’t defend it, then you’re against it!! Seems those there in that community were 100% for the tumbling of GW statue...DAMN SICKENING!!
Would have been ironic if the statue had fallen on the topplers and crushed them.
