The United States may be at a crucial point in the coronavirus pandemic, with cases rising again and officials deciding whether to stay the course on reopening. At least 19 states have seen new cases go up in the last two weeks and six states on Tuesday reported record increases, CBS News' Manuel Bojorquez reports.
Florida reported 2,783 new cases. Texas reported 2,622, and Arizona reported a one-day jump of 2,392 new cases. Oklahoma, Oregon and Nevada also reported their highest single-day spikes in cases yet.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis dismissed concerns Tuesday that reopenings are driving his state's record-breaking run. He said spikes there are due to increased testing, particularly in high-risk areas like nursing homes and farming communities.

When will the MSM report DEATHS ? not cases.
Nobody cares about Covid. We’re on to rioting and removing history so no one will remember why this country was born and surpassed every country in the world to become a beacon of freedom.
A “case” does not mean the subject is even showing any symptoms.
If a patient is admitted to a hospital for some kind of treatment, and that patient tests positive for Covid, that patient is counted as a Covid hospitalization case.
In Texas there wasn’t really a spike, those counties had testing results come in from institutions and some were even an error. One was 92 instead of 2
Nah, more smoke and mirrors
agree...
This is from testing. Tell me about hospitalizations and in what condition they were in when hospitalized”””
You re correct.
How many of these people testing ‘positive’ were not showing ANY symptoms at all?
How many ‘positive’ results are false positives???
How often will these persons be retested-—over & over again???
You want hospitalization info. Here ya go. https://cbsaustin.com/news/local/107-new-covid-19-cases-reported-in-austintravis-county-hospitalized-total-rises-to-158
Nobodys gonna give in to that this time. Civil disobedience is the name of the game these days. Stay open. There wont be any cops coming to arrest you in blue states.
Then there is this

Well, renewed shutdowns won’t cut it. Time to cowboy up and power through it. Many will be infected with COVID and some die. That’s how we look at the flu, so we can look at COVID the same way..
six states do. forty-four states don’t. what to report?
The essence of fake: just report the bad news
“And tell me how many empty hospital and ICU beds there are”
Here are some stats from Illinois. ICU beds in use range from ~ 40% downstate to 60% around Chicago. If you look at the graphs near the bottom of webpage, ICU and ventilator usage have been in steady decline by Covid 19 patients since early May.

AZ hospitals are quite full. It’s not just testing. We reopened, this was going to drive rates up. Then the protests.
I checked Fla on the Covid Tracking Project site. It has been running an average of 100 civic hospitalizations ccx a day for about a week. Deaths are up a tick. For the last week the positive to tests rate has been between 6%-9% with the higher number in the last three days. So the increases are real, not just result of testing.
More BS.
Well I’ve got multiple friends in the system. Some that work at Banner, and another working ICU in Phoenix. It’s not misleading. We’re looking at about 80% full here, and it’s mostly covids. Our procedures are still postponed here.
