But the president might not get so lucky this time around. A wave of new polling shows that Trump is doing significantly worse among women than he was four years ago. According to an analysis from the New York Times, Trump trailed Clinton by 14 points among female voters heading into 2016. Today, he's behind expected Democratic nominee Joe Biden by 25 points.
"That's a huge falloff and a big problem," said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, president of the center-right American Action Forum.
Plus, a key demographic that helped seal Trump's electoral victory is starting to erode. Recent polling shows that white working-class women are moving away from the president, which could deliver a huge blow to his campaign in key swing states like Wisconsin and Michigan.
Trump's support from white working-class women has plunged 11 percentage points, according to a report from the Brookings Institution. Clinton lost this group to Trump by 27 points in 2016. Today, Biden is trailing the president by only 6 points.

Polls also show that Trump's handling of protests over the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd is not sitting well with female voters. A Reuters/Ipsos poll released last week showed that seven out of 10 suburban women expressed sympathy toward the protesters and that six out of 10 disapproved of Trump's handling of the unrest.
"There is a large gender gap right now in American politics. I'm not saying Trump invented it, but he certainly widened it. I think he'll have cause to regret that," Galston said.

I wouldn’t bet to much on the Sander voters going to Biden they are waiting to give the democrat party a screw you after they dumped Sanders twice.
I doubt the Democrats could have nominated a worse candidate if they tried. Except maybe Hillary again.
The US has a strong middle class and a 2nd amendment.
This is the Reuters/Ipsos Poll that polled Americans, not specifically voters who were intending to vote. It also adjusted the polled “online” responders, so that it included 50% Democrats, 25% Republicans, and skewed the male female ratio heavily democrat female and excluded non-black Hispanic minorities from it’s minority demographics, and also skewed the black demographic heavily female. Thus, it got a 54% Biden to 41% Trump vote preference, the farthest outlying of all the recent polls.
I rest my case that this poll should be tossed in the trash can.
And, if he wins, what will the left do?
Incidentally, I have become convinced that the Biden we are seeing in his televised appearances, especially the Biden ads, is a digitized Deep Fake. There is no way that “Biden,” making those coherent statements comports with the Biden we’ve seen speaking in other known to be real interviews, off-the cuff townhalls, or from-the-basement events where he was stumbling all over himself, tossing out nonsense. The intelligent, suddenly non-senile Biden has GOT to be a computerized “Deep Fake” created by modern technology, or modern medical science has come a long way in treating old age senescence than anything I’ve seen before. I don’t believe the latter to be possible, so that leaves the former to be the truth.
In 2018, it was a lot of white suburban women who cost Minnesota the GOP majority in the state house of representatives and two seats in Congress.
Essentially, the state Dem party used the “Orange Man Bad” and “Trump is a meanie” angle to get the soccer moms out.
By no means do I want riots and looting out in the suburban area - but heck, I think that a number of these suburban women might start thinking differently when their local nail salon or Starbucks is burned to the ground and some of the rioters are yelling “Yo White Bitch” at them.
Yeah women just love the violence, destruction and mayhem depicted by the rioters!
