Natalie Portman has said she supports the Defund The Police movement after admitting she was initially fearful of it because of her 'white privilege'.
She took to Instagram on Monday, sharing resources that explain the movement in detail following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police on May 25.
The 38-year-old said: 'My whole life, police have made me feel safe. But that's exactly the center of my white privilege.

The consequences of being part of the 13% of the population that commits 70% of the violent crimes is that police are reluctant to interact with any African American because they might be "one of those" and police would end up dead.
The consequences of NOT being part of that segment is that the police will come when you need them because the odds of getting attacked are low.

You can’t be anti-capitalist and want to defund the police simultaneously.
Why? Because there will be security contracts, a new economy and competition with freedom of choice (free market), which is capitalism.

Hollyweirdos can afford to abolish the police. They live behind gated, well protected walls guarded by well-armed and trained men who can visit violence on those who dare cross their paths.
