Race has been used forever to keep us divided. Any issue they can come up with, so long as we are divided.
The greatest threat to the powers that be, is a united we the people. Nothing on this earth can stop American citizens working towards a common goal or enemy. Nothing.
Well, Jim, you pose an interesting conundrum. Practically all of the big city police chiefs and their hierarchies are black, Hispanic, female, lesbian or some combination of those elements. How can their departments be anything other than perfect social justice enclaves?
Why is “systematic racism” in Democrat cities never blamed on the Democrats who run them?
Democrats are a proud line going all the way back through Jim Crow and Segregation and KKK and Slave holding and Indian Removal etc.
A good question to ask.

In my lifetime we have faced calls for “racial justice” many times. This is old hat.
We have the Civil Rights act of 1964, we have affirmative action employment mandates, we have community policing, we have hired thousands of blacks on the police forces of America and placed them in thousand of government jobs and on and on. So, what’s next???
This may be off topic. But in reading the responses to your question, I started to think about the political preferences of the blacks.
Could the reason the protests, riots, and general mayhem be the result of polling that indicates the blacks are leaving the Democrat Plantation?
Trump offered all Americans economic opportunity and reduced unemployment to record lows for the blacks. Just maybe the Democrats became very frightened that they were about to lose a large number of black voters to the Republicans.
Couple that fear with the mismanagement of corona virus by the Democrat states, the blacks saw further reasons to leave the plantation and vote Republican.
So were the Democrats simply looking for an opportune incident to get the blacks back in line? And that is why we have had riots, looting, and general mayhem these past few days and the Democrat leaders seem to be nothing to stop it.
You see now the type of people inner city cops have to deal with every day. They also know for every bad cop out there, there are hundreds or thousands of these types.
The communists actually hate blacks with a passion, but they use them as cannon fodder and pawns on the political side. A few blacks have seen just how bad the communists have enslaved them. Lord help any black that leaves the RAT plantation. There’s a day coming when blacks will rise up and tear their slave masters apart...politically speaking.

Why do police chiefs insist on wearing General’s stars? Even the US Suregeon General only rates two in the US Navy, IIRC.
