While protestors were taking a knee on I-35 a semi truck driver ran into protestors. The police have arrived macing protestors instead of going after the truck driver.

If you listen to the idiot local news broadcasters from the Minneapolis station, its all about the poor “peaceful protestors” who had shut down I-35 and were swarming over both sides of the highway.

I’m pretty sure there is a federal law against pedestrians being on an interstate highway.
Pedestrians could be hit by the fast moving traffic on the interstate.

Considering what happened to truck drive Reginald Denny during the Rodney King riots, I think any truck driver in that situation could have a reasonable fear of great bodily injury or death. That’s the standard for using any amount of force to escape.
