Mayor Bill de Blasio on Friday welcomed peaceful mass protests in the Big Apple over the police-involved death of George Floyd — even as he has staunchly barred other demonstrations, religious gatherings and fined small businesses $1,000 for reopening.
“I want to just say anyone who wants to protest, we’re going to protect your right to protest, but please also respect [that] the cop in front of you did not create the problem,” de Blasio said on WNYC radio’s “The Brian Lehrer Show.”
He was referring to the hundreds of activists who gathered in Lower Manhattan Thursday — in violation of the city’s pandemic lockdown rules...

I never thought I would care less about any American but I now am coming to the feeling of not caring about the blue areas anymore. It actually stresses me out. I feel horrible about the the naive,apolitical,innocent and conservative but I consider blue the occupied areas. These a-hole political scum especially tonight from NYC,Chicago,Minneapolis etc just make my blood boil. These riot scum should be burning them down.

They are protests, up and until someone is hurt, property is damaged, destroyed or stolen. Then they are riots and acts of terrorism, simple as that.
Virtually every news media outlet is referring to all this crap as protests over the killing of Floyd George. That’s a bunch of BS, these are opportunist thieves and terrorists.
We are watching, in real time, why NOBODY should rely on the fire departments, law enforcement or military to protect what is rightfully theirs.

Where is the right to protest for the anti lockdown proponents who have been barred from protesting?
“I want to see a light touch because people are undeniably angry for a reason,” he said.
De Blasio said nothing about the demonstrators violating city and state rules against large gatherings, even though he insisted earlier this month that rallies “spread the disease and help kill people.”
In early May, nine protesters pushing for the Empire State to reopen from its coronavirus lockdown were busted outside City Hall for not obeying social distancing guidelines.
At the time, Blasio said gatherings, including the small reopen protest, are prohibited.
“We’re not allowing any kind of gathering, period,” the mayor said at a press briefing.
I hear ya’. The political agitators and mobs don’t speak for everyone — to the contrary, the greatest pain they inflict is upon their communities. It is indeed horrible, and inevitably gains them nothing but scorn.
This guy is a real POS. He might as well put up neon billboards exclaiming “Antifa and blm welcome to spread destruction here”. All these blue mayors and governors have used the same lines over the past 24 hours....in so many words they are yelling from rooftops “we think its great that you have protests in my city/state. You have an obligation to protest.” Have they not caught on yet that probably the majority of this scum are now antifa and blm and God knows what else? I feel sorry for the conservatives and decent people in these areas. I could give a rat’s behind about the people who voted for these geniuses.
Sounds like NYC can open back up now.
