SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco is chartering its on course on how to reopen, differentiating itself from the five Bay Area counties it once stood aligned with on how to move forward in the COVID-19 fight.
Mayor London Breed announced at a news conference on Thursday that the city's current stay-at-home order, which was set to expire on Sunday, would be extended "indefinitely."

Without NY and CA, the USA economy does not recover.
Once the state of emergency is no longer, the power of government to issue dictatorial edicts lapses. This could very easily be challenged in court, supposing anyone in San Francisco cares to do it.
San Francisco has more restaurant seats than there are county residents. No more. How many restaurants can survive this? And the real estate industry will also go belly up with these restaurants unable yo pay rent, purveyors unable to sell them goods, and on down the line. This mayor is a utter fool, as is Garcetti and Newsome. Will the Quisling RATS in California remember come November? Probably not.
They don’t have to be accountable per se - their orders don’t need to be followed.
