GOP Lawmaker Demands Trump STOP Promoting Joe Scarborough Murder Conspiracy Theory And Warns 'It Will Destroy Us'
Daily Mail ^ | 5-25-2020

A GOP Illinois Representative has demanded that Donald Trump stop pushing a conspiracy theory that MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough had something to do with the death of his intern while he was in Congress.

Trump renewed theories about Morning Joe anchor Scarborough on Sunday morning by questioning how a marathon runner could fall, hit her head and die.

It led to the family of Lori Klausutis revealing they are living in fear of retaliation from conspiracy theorists if they comment, but Republican Adam Kinzinger has called for the president to cease mentioning it.

'A lot of interest in this story about Psycho Joe Scarborough. So a young marathon runner just happened to faint in his office, hit her head on his desk, & die? I would think there is a lot more to this story than that? An affair? What about the so-called investigator? Read story!' Trump tweeted alongside a link Sunday morning.

The previous evening Trump had tweeted a link to an article featuring his own comments on the 2001 death.

Before becoming a cable news host, Scarborough was a Republican House member who represented Florida's 1st congressional district.

She died in 2001 at the office after falling and hitting her head. Doctors ruled her death an accident as a result of an undiagnosed heart arrhythmia.

But a conspiracy theory that she had been romantically involved with Scarborough and that her death was not an accident has swirled and been fanned repeatedly in recent weeks by Trump.
(No mention of Scarborough lies about Trump)

Bizzare thing for Kinz to fixate on, why would trolling Morning Joe “destroy us”?

Why, did they all kill interns?

Look, Joe Scarborough didn't spend three years lying about Trump being a Russian agent or anything like that...so like this is totally unfair of Trump to bring this intern stuff up.../s

Hey Joe, what goes around comes around...

If you can dish out lies about President Trump for three years... then maybe you should learn to take it.

Why is everything that doesn’t fit your agenda a conspiracy theory? Facts are stubborn thing. Look into the facts, and then conclude. Conclude first and then search for facts that fit, and you have narrative.

Two standards of justice are one of hte main things that has almost destroyed this country.

The death of the intern was obviously rotten and a cursory reading of the oddities is very telling.

Trump isn’t getting “revenge” or having “fun”, he’s bringing to light the fact that the intern’s death was not an accident, and was covered up, and a guilty man has gone free. A trial will be revealing.

Joe also had his lawyers send bloggers “cease and desist” letters for previously commenting on the case.

I don’t like the president taking this road. I will be greatly relieved when Mr. Trump is done using this topic in everyday interviews. If he really wants it looked into, then assign one of his men to it.

The dead woman’s family has expressed that they do not want to relive this all over again. They know whatever is settled, surmised or decreed, nothing is never going to bring their daughter back to them. They don’t want to have the scab ripped off by the US President on TV as a Talking Point during an interview about world topics. Their wishes should prevail over any political ‘leverage’ the president thinks this gives him.

I like many things about Mr. Trump, and will be voting for him a second time, but sometimes he gets stuck in Attack Mode for quite a while.

Apparently you have not read Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War”.

Trump is a great student of Sun Tzu. His first book was “Art of the Deal”.

He is attacking Scar. for good reasons. Of course the family said that, so did Seth Rich’s family.

If you think a murderer should get off because he’s politically connected, that is not a sound position.

Not a day goes by that Deliverance Joe does not call Trump every vile name in the book, and talk to a worthless POS Never-Trumper who agrees with him. It would tickle the hell out of me if Scarborough was indicted for murder.
