Rep. Denver Riggleman in 2018 won the then-open district, stretching from the North Carolina state line 250 miles up to Washington, D.C., exurbs in Fauquier County, Virginia. But unlike the bulk of freshmen, who cruise to reelection after winning their seats the first time, Riggleman is locked in a nasty Republican renomination battle against Bob Good, a Campbell County supervisor and former athletics official at Liberty University

He comes out as pro-gay marriage. He comes out as pro-drug legalization, and he limps down the stretch of the nomination after it becomes revealed that he's a purple progressive Republican, Good told the Washington Examiner. But he barely wins because this is such a strong Republican district. He wins 53%-47% [Riggleman's 2018 margin over his Democratic rival]."

Ping for later.
These views are a burden in NC. Theyd help him here in Cali.
Riggleman’s in Virginia.
Heh. Sounds similar to Justin Amash's blend of left-libertarian views, except THIS guy didn't try to cloak himself in Tea Party drag and use the "Gosh, I'm a Christian who PERSONALLY don't believe in gay marriage at all...I'm just voting the way Pelosi does for CONSTITUTIONAL reasons" that Amash used to get away with his treasonous record for years.
Amash is probably on the phone with his RINO pal right now telling him "Dude, I TOLD you to join the Freedom Caucus and say you promote fudge packing events because the U.S. Constitution somehow forces you to! The homophobic right-wing neanderthals will buy that BS unless you impeach Trump! But NOW you're screwed!"
They'd help him win the California primary, maybe. The CA GOP establishment would quickly proclaim him the only "electable" candidate and claim anyone remotely conservative is "too extreme for California", twisting the arms of GOP voters to nominate him. After Riggleman won the primary, he'd then promptly get crushed in November by the official RAT nominee who has the same views.
GROSS!! STUPID and GROSS!
We have a word for someone like Denver Riggleman.
“Demonrat.”
I’m not shy to say that I loathe the entire alphabet soup of gender identity. Any one who attends and supports such perversions are dog meat IMHO. Which is why here in Canada I reject the leadership bid of Peter McKay.
Honey, let's get a room. We can't Fauquier.
Guys with stupid names?
How did this fag lover win a local convention?
Isn’t Riggleman the guy who wrote a book of Bigfoot erotica?
You’d probably be right, if California still had primaries.
Okay, fine. Here's how it would play out in California: RINO Riggleman, the officially endorsed candidate of the California Republican Party, would be the top GOP candidate in the "jungle primary" system, getting 18.2% of the vote. Five other little known candidates who are actual conservatives would split the non-RINO vote. Riggleman would THEN go on to crash and burn in November, getting 33.7% of the vote in the runoff against a RAT. State Party officials would then promptly blame "right-wing purists" for "staying home".
>> How did this fag lover win a local convention? <<
Most likely he didn't reveal he was pro-gay marriage until AFTER he was elected, like most of the cowardly RINOs do. (he's smart enough to realize that it would have killed off his chances of making it thru a GOP primary). Some of them are even vile enough to campaign as the OPPOSITE and gladly take donations from pro-family PACS, like that scumbag Ron Sandack here in Illinois.
There’s no 3rd party candidate on the ballot. None that I see.
A lost opportunity
That pic: GOOD GRIEF!! I’m puking.
The focus now should be taking out this backstabber in the primary. I only consider third party once that option has failed.
It’s gonna be a convention again, no primary. I imagine Riggleman will lose.
But if he doesn’t we still need GD Pelosi out of power. The rat candidate, Boise Wigglestien, personally performs partial-birth abortions.
