He sure as hell didn’t expect the guy to be shot. And filming is not a crime. It doesn’t make him a participant. It makes him a witness.
Bkmrk
It’s in the police report. The pursers tried to prevent Arbery from running, there was three attempts. The second attempt was done by the filmer, and the third attempt is the shooting. That is why GBI is charging the filmer with at least criminal contempt to commit false imprisonment.
But . . what about the white elderly couple visiting their son’s grave?
Seems as though Gregory McMichael's statement to the police is what's creating problems for Bryan now. He should have known to keep his mouth shut until he had a lawyer. The moment you think you might be a suspect in a crime, stop talking and lawyer up.
The bottom line is he would be alive today if he didn’t go someplace where he wasn’t supposed to be.
I see a ton of racist black people saying oh he was just jogging. Either you’re incredibly stupid if you believe that or you’re willingly ignoring the fact that he was probably doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing.
‘youre willingly ignoring the fact that he was probably doing something he wasnt supposed to be doing.’
it’s probably a fact that ‘facts’ are not ‘probable’...
Indeed. A certain type of Black culture is in perpetual denial: You seen him do it but if he said he didnt do it, he didnt do it (actual testimony in Court by a mama of a thug I caught dropping out of a window of a closed business.)
Well... I guess after this there will be an important, well-covered press conference about the elderly white couple killed by the black sniper in the cemetery in Delaware.
Standing by.
Tom Brady really has these guys on their toes.
Where was that? If you mean the house under construction where there is no evidence he stole anything, what about the white couple and the kids who were also caught on the surveillance camera?
He ran close to a mile in under five minutes.
Looks like a planned running route.
Try again!
Where exactly was he not supposed to be? An open construction site?
People do that all the time here. Usually just curious about what’s going on, what it’s going to look like inside, how the room layout is, and so on. And apparently they do at the site in question too since there are multiple videos that have been released of different people - including children - entering that specific construction site over a period of a few months. Clearly not worth chasing someone down and trying to detain them at gunpoint.
It’s possible Arbery looked around at the construction site for something worth stealing, but what’s clear from both the video surveillance at the construction site and from the statement from the owner of the home being built is that nothing was stolen. So at least on that particular day, in that particular place, Arbery hadn’t actually committed any crime.
They are not the brightest bulbs in the circuit.
If you are approached by a cop, sherif, FBI agent....there is nothing good that came come of it. Shut your mouth. Period.
by grabbing the gun, he was attempting murder
Ahmaud Arbery may have stopped by a construction site for a drink of water before being killed while jogging.
The Brunswick, Ga. man, 25, killed by an ex-cop and his son, was spotted entering a construction site on two occasions before being shot dead.https://t.co/ipea5IKZ38— New York Daily News (@NYDailyNews) May 15, 2020
Makes sense, thats common practice: out for a Sunday jog in a nice neighborhood, need a drink of water, go into a house and get it..— Post-Op Male Man (@mailmanposts) May 16, 2020
The bottom line is that you dont chase trespassers with an idiot son carrying a shot gun.
Free movement is what all of you guys are bitching about on all the other threads. I think what you meant to say is that black guys shouldnt go into white neighborhoods. But you are smart enough not to write that.
Totally understandable. I always stop in unfinished homes to get a drink of water while jogging in my Timberland boots.— Voldo (@VoldoShekelberg) May 16, 2020
